It's been a year since she met Sharath, he looked just like how she met him for the last time. He smiled and waved his hand when he spotted her.

She smiled back and stared at him. He's not that handsome compared to Vijay but before she met Vijay, Sharath was the first man she ever admired.

She kept that as a secret and it will forever remain a secret.

"You've changed a lot," that was the first thing he said when he took a proper look at her.

"Yes," she agreed and asked them to sit

"How are you Sharath? What about Bharath and your parents?

"They are all fine, Aarthi, tell me about you?"

"What about me?"
"Are you fine? Is he treating you well? Does he do anything to you? Are you happy? Just tell me the truth," he questions as if she's in big trouble. It's true but how Sharath got to know that? She smiles to know that he's concerned about her.

"I'm fine. Vijay looks after me well," she said.
"I don't believe you," he didn't get convinced.

"I've been so worried about you," he said and the waiter got their attention.

Sharath asked what she wanted; she said an orange juice and he ordered the same for him.

Aarthi is so careful in picking her words because if she slips a small hint about her life the House of Cards that she and Vijay built will fall apart, she does not want that to happen.

"Where is so worried about me?" She smiles.

Sharath stared at her. "If there is anything, please tell me now. Then I don't think you will find the perfect chance to say," he said.

"I don't know why you are antagonizing him, he's such a good person. He was a little sensitive person but other than that, he's a nice guy,"

"You know the truth, Aarthi. You're just pretending not to know about that,"

Aarti's gaze hardened. "What do you know about him, tell me,"

Sharath hesitated, "I don't know whether it's appropriate and you're pregnant now,"

"It's okay tell me,"
"He lied about his family, he was also adopted just like you, but he and grandfather lied about it,"

That's new for Aarthi but she didn't get surprised.
"I don't know whatever his family lied about him. His Uncle, who came for the wedding told a lot of bad things about him," he said.
"So, what?" Aarthi stopped. "I've crossed all that stage, there's no going back. He's good to me and there's nothing else important to me,"

"Yes, I understand. There's something else,"
Aarthi stared at him.

"He's following me, I guess,"
"You guess?" she frowns.
"Yes, I saw him a couple of times around the places I go, I feel like he's following me,"

"It must be a coincidence. Remember we are living in a small city and he has a business in all the important places," she took Vijay's side.
She can't help but get frustrated with Vijay. Why he has to follow this guy? She trusts Sharath, Vijay is that kind of man. He's a psycho thinking she would run away with Sharath. He would've done it. Maybe Vijay followed him here, who knows?

"If next time, I see him anywhere near me, I'm going to talk to him," he said.
"Do as you want," she said.

"Whatever, I was so worried about you," he said.
She smiled, she badly wanted him to ask why but she remained silent.
"I admit it was tough for me in the beginning with Vijay, but later we understood each other. We are now living a happy life,"
