He wasn't meaning to, but Harry was pulling away from everything. Even Edward. Which is ironic — given that the reason he's upset in the first place is because he can't be with Edward more. Like around people and stuff; be a real couple. He just hates how they constantly have to watch themselves unless they are totally alone. That they can't ever just feel at ease — always fearing they'll get caught. He hates that they can't ever go on dates whenever they like, or dance together at parties and clubs, or even just fucking hold hands in public. They instead, have to keep the entirety of their romantic relationship hidden behind closed doors. These things have always bothered him to some extent, but for some reason it's all been overwhelming as of late.

And, as if things weren't hard enough for Harry lately, their mum had to go and make dinner plans with one of her friends today and force he and Edward to come along. She always makes them go with her and its fucking annoying, to both of them. It's not just any friend, either; it's her work friend Cathy. And Cathy has a stuck up, whorish daughter named Valerie, who always tries to get with Edward. It's disgusting; how she all but throws herself at him every time they visit — even in front of their mothers, for fucks sake. That girl has no self-respect; she's quite stupid as well, he thinks. He really fucking hates it when his mum makes plans with this lady... Nothing against Cathy herself; she is a sweet woman actually, but her dumbass daughter is a whole other story.

Harry doesn't actually hate anyone. He just doesn't have it in him to feel so strongly towards someone, especially if he doesn't really know that person. But that bitch? Yeah. He kind of hates her. Very, very strongly dislikes her, more accurately. The most irritating thing about the whole ordeal, is that the shameless bitch totally believes she has a shot with his boyfriend, because Edward — being the man-whore he is (was) — flirted with her and deliberately sat next to her every time they came around (until Harry, obviously). Which obviously would give her the phony impression that he was interested. Man, Edward can be so aggravating sometimes.

He spent the entire evening pissed off — from the second they walked into their house and Valerie went up to Edward to hug him as if they had been familiars for ages, until they left hours later. He almost caused a huge scene, that's how pissed off he was. He didn't speak to anyone after watching that — way too upset to disguise his tone, so he just stayed quiet, marinating in his anger. The reason it made him so perturbed this time, is because this was the first time they have visited since he and Edward got together. He got triggered, feeling disrespected on top of being dangerously jealous.

It's kind of funny that it made him as upset as it did, because Edward didn't even do anything wrong this time. In fact, Harry could see how uncomfortable and snappy he was and how he barely cared for her presence. He was actually a bit rude to the girl this time. Plus, after a few very serious fights and long conversations to get to this point, Harry is now notably secure in his relationship with Edward, so it's not like he was afraid of anything happening. However, none of that mattered at the time, it still made him crazy jealous — unjustifiably so, but still jealous, nonetheless.

In his angered, jealousy riddled mind, Harry needed to mark his territory somehow; to claim Edward. To remind him that he has the most perfect, sexiest boyfriend in the world that nobody could ever compare to. To find a way to show people Edward is now off-limits without having to reveal himself. And on the car ride home from Cathy's, he came up with the perfect plan to do exactly that.
