The Origins of Cain

"Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen? If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him."

- The Lord, to Cain.

(Que in the female narrator voice.)

Everyone knows the tale of Adam and Eve, and the apple that Lucifer tempted them to eat.

And after that, the story of Cain and Abel. But what if there was more to tell than what was told? What if Lucifer wasn't finished making Adam and Eve's life more miserable? What if he saw the perfect opportunity in their first born son.....Cain!

After God forgave the first humans, and they finally decided to raise their children. After their procreation they created new life. And he was named Cain. But with that new life came a dark corruption. While still in the womb, Satan planted his own seed, and with that seed came the downfall of humanity as a whole.

Instead of cherishable peace, came the root of sin. While Adam and Eve looked at their child with loving eyes, his were not of the same compliment. Unknown to the first man and second woman; when their child opened his eyes all that came was bloodlust.

Years later, about one more son came in their lovely home his name was Abel. Similar to Adam and Eve he was the perfect human. Mid-long straight golden hair that cascaded down to his shoulders like the roads of heaven, perfect peach skin, bright blue eyes that mimicked the sky and sea. The three were perfect in every way.

And then there was the black sheep. The eldest son. Cain couldn't be any different than his parents and brother. Inky black hair that tangled with each other, like a forest in a dark abyss. Mud brown eyes that showed nothing but hidden rage and anger, reddish brown skin similar to the dirt on the ground. He showed imperfections yet he too held hints of untainted perfection.

Though Adam and Eve still showed love to their son, his brothers still held him as his guide in life. And even with his imperfections, Cain was still part of their family.

Many years later when Cain was working in the fields harvesting his vegetables, he unknowingly beheaded a small white rabbit with his weeding hoe. Blood from the small creature splattered on his hands, face, tool, and his garden. His face held shock, but soon enough held a sadistic smirk, he enjoyed doing that.

No sooner after that after putting the unfortunate incident in the back of his mind he continued his work. Though the euphoric feeling that transmitted through his veins gave him a great high, a high he was addicted to, a high he wanted to feel again.

So everyday Cain worked in his garden to see if there were any small creatures he could kill. While there were bugs frogs and baby bunnies that hopped away from their pack, it wasn't enough to satisfy the elder son.

Deciding it was time for something bigger he headed towards his brother's flock. The beautiful white wool of Abel's sheep shined beautifully in night and day. They were also the perfect prey. Cain held the knife that was used to shave them and thrusted at the innocent animal. The pained yelp that flowed out of the sheep's mouth brought Cain to near fulfilment.

He couldn't stop, but of course with every action there is always consequence. After more and more sheep kept dying and the crops stayed rotten others had gotten suspicious. More so Abel to Cain since the black haired man kept his distance from them.

So one night Abel had enough, he stayed the entire night, hidden, watching his flock to find the tragedy behind them. To his shock Cain appeared, and unexpectedly his flock pushed away from him in fear. About to greet his brother and ask for his reason to be here, but Cain with his knife chased a sheep and stabbed it lifeless.

Abel couldn't believe what he witnessed. He reported back to his parents. Adam and Eve couldn't believe it. So when their first born came home they punished him harshly. At this, Cain's rage could no longer be contained, and it was all directed to his brother Abel. Once Abel was alone Cain held his knife and STRUCK his brother in the heart.

Angered, God cursed him to forever walk the earth and to leave the garden. Unfortunately this just gave Lucifer more power to corrupt HIS son afterall, it was his seed that created the sin within the child.

Forcing the mindless beast inside Cain to surface; any living thing that moved faced the end of Cain's blade. But for the Devil this was not enough.

The final stage of the Devils corruption is complete and now it was time for Adam and Eve to die as well. But before the first born could kill his birth parents, God sent his angels to drag the first murderer down to hell.

It was unfortunate, but the once peaceful world will never be the same again.

Unfortunately Cain was not done. Crawling out from the depth of hell after thousands of years later the broken near soulless body of Cain has risen and has claimed to cause havoc to mankind. With the Devil and the sins helping gifting power to his mark, his murderous rampage could not be stopped even by angels. Where he walked came agonizing death to all. God had enough of his children dying, but the all knowing saw something. He saw Mankind's killer as their guardian instead. So instead of sending one of his ArchAngels to eradicate the body and soul, God decided to restore and purify it.

After the restoration and purification Cain wept, he wept for his brother, and everyone that he ruthlessly murdered, and gods angels who had fallen by his blade. God told him to not give in to despair and instead look towards his new purpose and protect his family's descendants.

Before he could they must go to heaven and learn to use his new angelic essence and wings.

Cain trained under Michael to refine his fighting ability and to make sure knew his place as an angel and humanities guardian.

For years Cain has learned many things in his tutelage and he finally became worthy to live forever in the living world under heavens command.

But our story of tragedy turned to redemption did not stop there. Hundreds of thousands of years later, after God resumed his resting period Lucifer came out to play. In the world of the living without Heaven's or Cain's knowing he procreated with a woman and created the beginning of the end. The Anti-Christ! The child's power would be like no other too powerful, too unique for anything less than an ArchAngel to combat. So before the child had access to that power they ordered Cain to find and destroy the child before it was too late for heaven and earth.

But the first son couldn't. While a child of the Devil; he was still a child of his people too. Disobeying Heavens orders he ripped his midnight wings off and lowered himself to the Immortal human he once was.

He needed to find the child before his people died, before Hell could get their hands on him, before heaven did something they might regret.

He might have been the first murderer but he became redeemed and needs to uphold his new title

(A/N:So this is an original book, it's not gonna be too long it'os just because I took some inspiration from Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss, Supernatural (TV show), Legion (2010) and Bleach, and I decided to place the idea down. It's not gonna be biblically accurate, while it will have some elements I just added my own flare. There are probably gonna be some plot holes and some things that won't make sense but I'll try my best.
