"For everything that is hidden will eventually be brought into the open, and every secret will be brought to light."

-Luke 8:17

"Here you go sir. A fresh brewed coffee and a sandwich."

The waitress placed his food and cup of Joe down in front of the man and gave him a small smile.

The waitress is a pretty woman, young too. He would guess she just graduated high school. Long brown hair tied in a high ponytail, brown eyes and cream skin. Decked in a red and yellow waitress uniform, it gave him a nostalgic feeling from the 80's. Those were some interesting days.

"Thank you." He returned with a small smile of his own.

"Oki Doki. Just call me if you need anything else."

He nodded while she left. Taking a sip of the steaming mug of brown liquid he looked out the window, which also showed his reflection.

Cain.

He looked just about what he did all those years ago, just more modernly dressed, longer hair, a short beard, and he looked a lot more mature. His muddy eyes no longer held that same rage and bloodlust. Instead they held guilt, worry, and hints of sorrow.

He had yet to find the child, he knew that he is in the city, somewhere. But then again Heaven and Hell knows that as well. Chicago is a big place and the mother was Unknown, both in name and location to him.

Until a couple of hours ago, he found a name and address, possibly not her correct one but that was all he had.

Cain sighed and ruffled his curly hair. If only Heaven had just listened to him once. But he was still hated by most up there and he didn't blame them. He did kill many of them when they tried placing him back in hell.

The first son shook those thoughts away and focused on the mission. Cain knows that if Heaven took the child in and taught him the ways of the angels then Lucifer's spawn would be a great ally to them and a beautiful angel.

But heaven shut him up before he got his second word out. Finishing his meal and leaving a tip he left to the busy streets and continued his search.

He prayed that nothing terrible happened to the boy.

-----

"So Uriel any news on the boy?"

Uriel, the Archangel of prophecy and wisdom stood at an edge of his cloud seeming staring down at earth. Uriel manifested his appearance as a dark skinned man with no hair, and blind eyes. Uriel wore white robes with a red sash. His red wings tucked behind him as if an angry sun stood on his back. In his arms is a thick book made of brown leather.

"None so far brother." Uriel responded with a deep tone.

"Hmm~ That's a shame. Well if none about the boy then what about Michael's favorite little soldier~"

The bored smug voice asked the wise angel.

"His soul is hidden with the billions of other human souls, I could be able to pinpoint it but it would take time, time in which we do not have."

"Shame~ Too bad he didn't activate the mark yet. Then he would've been a beacon!"

"Not even a toddler would be that foolish Gabriel."

Gabriel God's messenger has a mop of dirty blonde hair with black highlights. his face held a chill but smug look, and on his chin is a black goatee with a blonde strip going down the center. Instead of the usual heavenly robes he instead wore a black business suit. His white wings shook as if to flaunt their fluffyness.

"Speaking of big brother, where is our heavenly leader?" Gabriel questioned.

Uriel not moving his head spoke to his brother.

"Michael is with Jophiel calming his raging mind."

Gabriel hummed while nodding his head. It wasn't a secret that Michael is very angry and very frustrated with Cain's betrayal. And he was such a good boy too. Shame he had to repeat history twice just with the opposite team.

"Well if you "see" anything give me the word and I'll deliver it to Michael."

"I will be sure that I do."

Gabriel left his brother to do his duties. Ever since this Anti-Christ was born early, this realm has been in total chaos. Though Gabriel couldn't help but wonder why humanity's guardian would want to protect something that would cause humanity's downfall? Then again after Cain got his soul cleansed it had been hard to decipher the mind of the first murderer.

-----

If there was one thing Cain wished for it to be able to ride a vehicle. Every time he would use one it would breakdown after a few seconds or just not turn on ever again. Reason? God cursed him to forever WALK the earth of course he could run, skip, jump, swim, or skip around but most of those actions would make him look silly.

Reaching the small apartment that belonged to Angela -Lucifer's temporary spouse- he checked the door. Locked of course. Twisting the handle, he broke it and pushed harder making the other two locks bust.

The small room was dark, with the only source of light being the window leading towards the fire escape lighting up only the center of the room. Strange. The broken lock should've caused enough noise for a person to come rushing through to check it. He listened closely, no baby crying nor any small breathing either. No one was in here.

Angela wasn't at her job either. She worked at the diner he was just at and he checked, she wasn't there. Looking around the room it's been ransacked. Someone was here, looking for something....someone. Then the first son stopped and took another sniff. He smelt iron, rusted iron.

Rushing to the only closed door in the room -the bathroom- he busted it open. There lied Angela. Dead. In a pool of her own blood. Someon- no..Something attacked her and chewed through her torso and stomache eating what was inside.

Cain looked away, his throat felt tight. One of his family's descendant perished at hell's hands. How could Lucifer approve something so grotesque. With a woman he spent what should have been a special night with.

Cain took her phone and called the ambulance and told them the address and walked away.

'I'm sorry I wasn't there to protect you. And I'm sorry I couldn't properly bury you, but this is all I can do. I pray you a safe travel to the gates of heaven; rest easy knowing I will do everything in my power to protect your son. I swear on my brother's name.'

Cain ran out of the complex, someone took her life and her son. He knows it wasn't an Angel, they would've killed only the child possibly both on the spot. But they wouldn't leave the body like that. A demon did this, and it's taking the child to hell to see his father.

This mission went south quickly. And there was only one place where Cain knows where the demon might have taken the child. One of the gates of hell......Graceland Cemetery.

The body was fresh meaning the demon just left. They had a headstart so Cain needed to run as fast as he could. Before it was too late.

Uriel contacted Gabriel.

"Yo, Ur! Any news?" Gabriel lazily waved at his brother while he nonchalantly walked towards the "blind" angel.

"Yes. Inform Michael that a demon has taken the child and is heading towards one of the gates of Hell. The one in Graceland Cemetery."

"Don't worry he already knows. Good work Uriel."

"Does Michael Know which angel to send."

"Yep I just delivered the word to said Angel and they're flying down ASAP!"

"Hmm...And he is not worried about Cain-"

"Ah! Ah! Ah! You know how Michael feels about his name being spoken~ Besides she's fought against him before."

"She? You mean..."

"Yep!
