Off they go walking again.

Jackie couldn't believe it, she suggested taking the scooter and getting as far away from here as possible. Unfortunately Cain could not in good conscious condone thievery.

"And besides, I'm not able to ride in any vehicle, I was cursed to walk the earth not drive it."

Jackie obviously didn't believe him and made him hop on the scooter.....only for it to break down.

She just gaped like a fish out of water.

Cain gave a small chuckle and forced them to leave on foot.

"I'm not sure I can keep doing this...." Jackie groaned as they kept walking the streets to leave the city.

"You could take a bus to the nearest city of Tennessee." Cain suggested. Jackie immediately shut that idea down.

"Didn't you just say to stay close to you!! Now you want me to scram!!??"

Cain shook his head. "No. Charlie seems tired, and a smooth trip with you to the next city would do the both of you wonders. Don't worry so much, I'll be trailing right behind the bus for your safety."

"How are you-" Jackie then stopped herself when she remembered how fast the possessed men and Cain moved during the chase a while back. She relented and took Charlie, and got on the bus. After a few moments the bus took off, Jackie looked back and saw Cain preparing to run.

'He'll catch up to us, dudes not even human.' Jackie assured herself as she contemplated her conversation with that phantom menace.

~~Flashback~~

Jackie made it near the building she heard a couple of men -who she assumed was Cain and the other guys- enter. She made it to the door before a noise stopped her.

The sound of white noise and a calm "stop" halted her movements.

"Tell me, girl, do you REALLY want to follow that man.

Revenant Muzarot's voice resounded through the speakers.

"Tell me girl, you seem so eager to help him. Why? Because he can give you protection? To be honest I'm not really interested in you so you can run along."

"Hell no!" Jackie gave the speaker an incredulous look. "Why should I believe a demon!?"

"Why should you believe a former one? One that rebelled against Heaven?" Muzarot shot back.

Jackie didn't know what to say.

"Tell me girl. Do you believe Cain, the man controlled by his sins, ONLY just murdered people?" He questioned.

"Y-yeah. Cain's known for killing his brother. Nothing else was mentioned." Jackie seemed unsure of her answer now.

An erratic chuckle resounded. "Oh sweet innocent child. Cain was controlled by his wrath, his lust, his greed, his pride, his gluttony, his treachery. No, he didn't JUST kill his brother. He killed others, so many others, humans and angels alike. Took part in adulterous activities. HE created murder of all types of degrees, such as mass, genocide, and all you can think of. And he enjoyed it all!"

He chuckled again. "Humans were not meant for Hell, but HE was the reason many of you are in it. Because he is the root reason you all sin."

Jackie stood there in silence, still trying to take in his words.
