That one trip to Italy

I nearly die of boredom sitting in this stupid class learning stupid things that I am never gonna need in life.

When will I need linear equations?

I fucking hate math.

I sit with Bella but she is texting that guy from Italy non-stop on her laptop. "Is he back in the US yet?" I ask her as she types away.

"He is going on a flight tonight." She tells me a smile spreading across my face.

"That's so good." I smile.

Once class ends I walk to my locker where Olivia comes over. "Hey, did you decide if you were going to the party tonight?" She leans against the wall with her books in her hands. "Yeah why not."

Immediately a smile forms on her face. "Oh my gosh yay! Do you want me to come over and we can get ready?" She asks.

"Of course I do." I slam my locker shut and we begin walking down the hallway.

"Okay, I will meet you at your car see you later."

Olivia scrambles through my wardrobe trying to find a cute piece to wear. "What about this Mads?" She holds up a tight black dress.

What if people judge. What if people thinks it looks bad.

"It is a bit tight but sure." I lay down on my bed. She nods. "Only if you comfortable in it though." She comes and joins me on my bed.

"Yeah, who cares. I will look cute."

"You will look hot." She laughs.

"What are you wearing?" I walk to my mirror and begin brushing out my hair. "I was thinking this dress." She holds up a baby pink mini dress.

"So pretty." I begin straightening out my waves.

I put on some black heels and Liv puts on some white ones and we are out the door. "Where you going?" Levi straightens up when he sees Olivia.

I roll my eyes. "We are going to a party."

"Oh, cool is it that Max guy?" he asks his eyes taking small glances at Liv. "Yes."

"Alright." He walks away and I laugh.

"He still has that crush on you." I place my things in the car.

"I know." She laughs.

We arrive and it is the usual. Kids doing beer pong. People dancing on the dance floor... Well, the living room. And people taking shots.

"Want a drink?" Olivia tugs onto my hand and pulls me threw the crowd.

I told myself I wouldn't drink unless someone offers. "Sure."

She hands me a red solo cup and her eyes scatter through the crowd looking for Nate. "Oh, there he is!" She walks over to him pulling me with her.

He stands with a few of his friends. Nate turns around and pulls her into a kiss. "Hi gorgeous." "Hi." She giggles.

I look around the room for Harvey. I spot him with a girl. A girl he looked like he was flirting with. I don't know why but my body filled with envy and jealousy. He made me fake date him so girls wouldn't come up to him know he is flirting with them. As much as I am jealous, I am confused and mad.

Which I know I probably shouldn't be. Who cares it's just Harvey?

Olivia continues to talk to Nate so I go look around for someone to talk to. I try to keep my mind of what Harvey is doing but my brain keeps flickering back to him flirting with that girl.

As I go to grab another drink Harvey walks by me. "Having a good time?" I ask tense.

He smirks noticing the tension in my voice. "Why, you jealous Mads?"

"Don't flatter yourself Harvey. I couldn't care less who you are flirting with."

His smirk widens as he moved in closer. "Oh really? You could have fooled me."

My fist clench. "You're so annoying. You know that?"

I could see irradiation spread across his face. "Stop being so uptight Maddie. Just chill."

I roll my eyes. "Aright Harvey." I storm off.

I walk out the front getting ready to leave as I am so tired but then someone pulled my wrist and turns me around.

"I'm sorry okay." Harvey says. "It's fine." I cross my arms.

He moves in closer and his eyes flicker. "I liked seeing you jealous." He smirks.

"I was not jealous." I fight back. "Sure, you weren't." He leans in closer causing me to take a step back hitting my head against the brick wall.

His hand tucks a piece of hair behind my ear and then cups my cheek running his thumb up and down.

"Harvey." I manage to stumble out.

"Yes Maddie." He runs a hand up and down my arm.

I take a deep breath.

Our lips brush slightly but we immediately jump away from each other when Olivia calls my name out.

I put my hands behind me back. "Yes?" I say trying not to sound like I was about to kiss Harvey for the fucking second time.

Her eyes widen and I know she has caught on. "Sorry I was just making sure you were okay, but I am sure you were." She smirks.

Nate comes out and Olivia giggles causing and big grin to form on Nate's face.

"For fucks sake." Harvey mumbles under his breath. I walk up to Olivia and pull her arm back inside.
