It's officially summer and Ave has already planned for the group to hangout. So now I am getting ready to go to the summer fair.
I put on some denim shorts with a beige singlet as it was actually roasting outside. I leave my hair out I know it will be a mistake but it looks good today and that is like a once in a life time opportunity to wake up with good hair.
Okay it may just look messy to some but to me it looks voluminous.
I rush down the stairs with my shoes in my hands and plop onto the couch slipping them on.
"Honey have you eaten?" My mom comes walking in. "Nope, but I am not hungry." I stand up brushing a hand through my hair.
"It's hot today, better eat even if you're not hungry." She goes to the kitchen to get food. "I promise I am not hungry, I will eat when I get there." I give her a smile and hear a light knock at the door.
I open it and Harvey stands in a pair of denim jorts and basic t shirt on. "Hi baby." He smiles kissing my temple and I feel his hand go to my stomach. "Have you eaten?" He whispers but not quiet enough when my mom comes walking over.
"She hasn't and I am telling her she needs too." Mom puts her hands on her hips.
"Why not it's nearly lunch time?" He asks me hair falling over his forehead as he looks down at me.
"I'm not hungry. So now can we go?" I hold onto his hand pulling him out the door. "Make sure she eats when she is there!" My mom calls out as Harvey opens my door.
He goes around to his side and opens the door. "Why haven't you eaten?" He asks me.
Cause I gotta wear freaking denim shorts and a singlet.
"I just forgot I was getting ready and wasn't hungry." I shrug and I feel a hand come to my leg slightly squeezing it. "Promise you will eat when we get there?" He says.
"Promise." I tell him and press play on the radio. A random break up song comes on. "Not this shit." He grumbles skipping the song.
"It is good." I tell him. "Well don't think about it cause there will never be a reason for you to be singing it." He explains and I feel my heart go warm. What a cutie.
"Okay sir Beckett." I tease and he just glares at me.

We arrive and everybody waits for us at the front. "You took fucking forever." Xander groans. "Go cry about it." Harvey stares at him but I see a small smile form on the corner of his lips.
"I will." Xander snaps. "Can you both just shut the fuck up I am hungry." Avery says and she heads to a food stand.
"What can I get you?" Harvey wraps his hand around mine and looks down at me. "Those fruit salads look so good I'll go see how much." I walk over to the stand.
"Hey can I please get one small fruit salad." I smile at the older lady. "Of course dear, with everything on it?" She asks. "Yes please." I tap my card on the table.
"7 dollars sweety." She grins heading to the back and getting a plastic bowl out. Harvey suddenly appears and taps his card. "Harvey." I look at him. "You are not paying for a fucking fruit salad."
"Doesn't mean you should." I lay my head against them. "Thank you." I let out.
"Here you are." The lady places a plastic fork and napkin over the salad. "Thank you!" I smile opening the lid and plopping a piece of watermelon in my mouth.
"Want some?" I ask Harvey. "Yeah why not." I pick up a slice of apple with the fork and give it to him.
"Who's the baby now." Xander crosses his arms. "Shut up." Harvey lets out a low chuckle. "I wanna go on that spiny thing that goes in the air." Bella points. "Hell yeah." Avery grins. "Fuck no." Olivia backs out. "Fuck yes." Xander walks over.
