I'm sitting on a couch in dorm 3A as Diluc is pacing, calling the security team to investigate. Ajax is sitting next to me, wiping my tears with a cloth. He was whispering something but I couldn't understand what he was saying. All that was in my head was "My brother's gone. Aethers gone. He was kidnapped."
"Childe. The security team should be here soon. Maybe you should call Miko to bring Ei here so they can question her" diluc said
"OK," he said taking out his phone, he dialed Miko's number and put his phone to his ear "Hi Miko, how's EI? That's good at least. Well can you bring Ei over here diluc called security and there coming here to question both Ei and lumine. OK see you soon" he put his phone down.
A few minutes later Miko brought Ei over and she still had tear stains on her face. About 15 minutes later a group of security guards came in and started looking around. One of them with black and gray hair walked over to me crouched down in front of me so that we saw eye to eye and said "Hello. What's your name?" his tone was surprisingly calm.
"l-lumine," I said
"OK lumine my name is Wriothesley. I'm gonna ask you some questions is that OK?" He said calmly. I couldn't say a word so I just nodded my head "OK. When was the last time you saw your brother?" he asked
"l-last night. w-we w-were at the c-carnival f-for v-valentines day," i said
"OK lumine before I ask the next question. I'm gonna need you to calm down. Take deep breaths. In... Out..." he said taking a deep breath
I took a deep breath and nodded ready for the next question.
"OK did your brother have any enemies or exes you knew of?" he said
"No, but he did have an ex from high school but she was pretty calm," I said
"Ok was he involved in any illegal activities?" He asked
"Not that I knew of," I said. I looked at Ajax and he was watching the other guards looking around the apartment.
"OK, that's the last question. Any other details you think I should know?" He said standing up
"well our parents were divorced and our father was very... you could say interested in him. Also proud of him. he's tried to take him from our mom's house multiple times." I said
"Do you believe he might have taken him?" he said
"Maybe," I said
"OK thank you for your help lumine. I promise we will try to find your brother" he said walking towards the other guards.
"ajax?" I whispered loud enough for just him to hear
"Yes?" he said looking at me
"Do you think they'll find him?" I said
"Yes, they will lumine. yes they will" he said kissing me
