“I’m not crazy! You’ve got to believe me!” Dib cried.

After Zim left school, nobody else seemed to remember the green kid with no ears. Now, everyone thinks he’s even more insane than before.

His father finally got him a therapist, who thinks he’s schizophrenic.

“I’m not saying you’re crazy. I’m saying you might have been having hallucinations,” She had explained to Dib.

“Yes you are! You’re saying I see things that aren’t there! That’s saying I’m crazy!” Dib insisted.

“Dib… You aren’t crazy. A lot of people--” The woman tried again.

“A lot of people are crazy!” Dib interrupted.

Dib turned to his father, hoping that he’d say the woman was wrong, but he shook his head and muttered to himself. “My poor insane son…”

The woman started to explain Dib’s situation again. Dib stared at his father, his eyes starting to tear up. The woman’s words were muffled in his brain. He slowly turned to her, and her words became more clear.

The longer she talked, the more Dib started to agree with her.

Maybe she was right.

And maybe Dib was crazy.

Zim… never existed.

And that was the last day he thought about that green boy.
