They are still asking questions but Attorney Chen and Attorney Reyes are answering on behalf of Jade

"Good afternoon Maam, Mr. T is here" Mandy whispers to Jade
Since Jade couldn't stand the Man approaches her
"Hi Trevor" Jade greeted as he approach
"Hey it's been a while" Trevor greeted whispering and kisses Jade's cheek
Armina infront saw this, it feels like her eyes narrowed and all she can see is that kiss
Questions are still firing to the Larsons but they can answer it with confidence
"We had a gracious ah... suggestion. Secretary Royales please be sitted, ito na senator Frank" The senator acting as chair chuckle thinking that Armina is going to help plea the innocence of the chairwoman
But they couldn't be more wrong
"Thank you Madam chair" Armina smiles at Senator Grace
"As Secretary Armina Royales is the Secretary of Budget and Management, I took the suggestion of the committee and let her ask a few questions regarding the matter" The chair person mouthed
"Please let me introduce to you of course the chairwoman already knows her, and actually lives with her. Our very own DBM secretary, Secretary Armina Royales" She introduced the secretary with such calm voice and a kind gesture
"Thank you Madam chair, Rest assured that there is no conflict of interest that's gonna happen. Thank you" Secretary Armina Royales stated with strong voice and serious tone
She positioned the mic in front of her mouth and read a few document
"The Secretary is now recognize"
"Since the senators have no questions with the mention of former chairman Darius Larson, I would like to throw a few more questions for clarification" Armina said without looking at Jade
Jade feels a bit anxious having to face against Armina, never in her wildest dreams have seen Armina asking her questions this way
She have a hint that Armina is not taking her side since her tone and gesture is a bit strong and serious
"Okay first" Armina said as she face Jade
"How long have you been a chairwoman?" Armina asks making an eye contact
Jade opens her mic and pulls her self closer to the mic
"1 and a half year po secretary" Jade replied her hand is shaking
"And you have known nothing in this tax evasion?" The secretary asks without batting an eye
"None"
"How can we be so sure of that?" Armina ask right after Jade's answer
"Is there evidences that will prove your innocence in this matter?" Armina added
"Secre-" Jade is supposed to speak but Armina just added another question
"Your taxation records is your responsibility as a business owner, you do have a lot of different businesses kaya dapat on time rin sana kayo sa pag babayad ng buwis" Armina mouthed looking at Jade
"Because" Jade loudly spoke so Armina can't take over her
"I wasn't in charge of the company that year secretary, I am 17 and had my uncle as chair-"Jade stated but was over powered by Armina's voice
