Chapter 10

"Hey" I smiled back at the mystery boy.

"Are you here alone?" He asked me.

"No I'm with my boyfriend"

"Wow lucky guy" he smiled.

I smiled back looking over at the boy I've spent so many days with recently. He was already on his way over and I stood up getting ready to give him a hug. He put his arms around my waist and kissed me forcefully.

"Jack" I mumbled against his lips placing my hand on his chest pushing lightly. When he didn't move I pushed him again but much harder.

"Jack what the hell"

"Come on Bella" his hand grabbed my waist and his hands found their way to my ass.

"JACK" I yelled pushing him farther away from me and grabbing my stuff, walking out of In n' Out. I started walking down the street dialing the first person that came to mind when I realized I had no car.

I dialed his number and waited for him to answer. When there was none, I called again hoping he would answer and finally after the fourth ring he did.

"Hello?"

"Hey Sam"

Sam's car pulled up to the corner I was standing at and I silently got in and put on my seat belt before he started driving again.

The car ride was silent until Sam finally spoke up "I like your hair"

"Thank you" I smiled at him playing with the ends.

Silence again. Sooner than I thought, Sam pulled up to my drive way.

"So what now?"

"Do you wanna come in?"

Sam and I spoke at the same time. I giggled and we both got out of the car. My parents won't be home until later so we don't have to worry about them getting mad cause I have a boy over. I went upstairs to change Sammy following me.

"Eh eh eh" I said shutting the door in his face. I slipped off my jeans just as the doorbell rang.

"SAM CAN YOU GET THAT" I yelled pulling off my shirt.

I threw on some Adidas sweat pants and started looking for a comfortable shirt. I found an old Nebraska sweatshirt and threw it on over my bra walking downstairs where I heard two voices.

"Sam? What the fuck are you doing here"

"Bella needed a ride home after you were being an asshole, who do you think picked her up"

"I need to talk to her let me in" Jack moved to the side trying to get in. Sam moved with him blocking him from coming inside.

"Sam come on bro let me in"

"No Jack you hurt her if you want to see her do it another time not right after it happened"

Jack was about to say something but I walked into the hallway, the towel in hand drying my hair. He relaxed when he saw me.

"Can I talk to you?" He asked softly. My eyebrows furrowed in confusion and I nodded my mouth slightly open. Sam looked at me and let him in. While Jack was walking towards me I noticed Sam get a text. His face lit up and he said he had to go and he ran out of the house. I turned my attention back to Jack who was already staring at me.

"Bella I-"

"I know the whole I'm sorry thing Jack. I know what you're gonna say. Me being me you'll probably win and we'll end up having sex and you came here knowing that. That can't happen though so get out I don't want to go through this again. Just please leave" I said in one breath.

"Bella I wasn't gonna say that I-" He was interrupted by my phone going off.

"Hey Nina" I said getting on the phone.

"Hey Bella, do you wanna hang out today? I'm kinda bored with Mackenzie"

"Yeah come over"

"Kk" she hung up and within two seconds there was a knock on the door. Nina busted through the front door completely ignoring Jack and I and walking over to the couch turning on the TV.

"I'll see you later Jack" I waved him out the door.

"Let's invite some people over" Nina smiled.

Mia, Mackenzie, and Nina were all hanging out in my living room.

"We need boys" Mia pouted.

Nina's face lit up and she pulled out her phone and I knew she was calling Johnson. Mia called Danny and I gave Sam a call. Sam was bringing someone over, and I didn't really mind.

A few minutes later Johnson and Danny were here. It was almost everyone's first time seeing my hair this way and it was the hit of the party.

"Why isn't Jack here?" Mackenzie asked.

"We got into a bit of a disagreement" I glared at her standing up to answer the door after receiving the text that Sam was here.

Sam was getting out of his car and I saw a feminine figure getting out as well.

"Katie?!" I ran over to her engulfing her in a hug.

"Hey Bella!" She smiled.

"You guys know each other?" Sam raised his eyebrows.

"She did my hair, and thank you again so much it's great" I took her hand and dragged her inside to introduce her to everyone.

"Hey guys this is Katie, Sam's lady friend, she also did my hair" I smiled. A chorus of 'Hi's' and 'Hello's' echoed throughout the room and then everyone turned back to their conversations.

"So where's Jack?" Katie questioned.

"We just got into a little argument" I smiled sitting down in the couch next to her.

"Let's go out" Danny suggested. Everyone looked around and agreed.

"But I have nothing to wear" Nina frowned.

"Don't worry girls do you really think I don't have a large amount of party dresses?" I laughed jogging up to my room everyone following. I opened my closet and was blinded by the light reflecting off a few sequenced dresses.

I handed Nina a tight, short red dress that had spaghetti straps. It really compliments her. I gave Mia this sparkly gold one that she's in love with and borrows every single time we go out. I passed Mackenzie a navy blue strapless dress that was actually quite simple. I threw Katie a black cocktail dress with a black strip of sparkles going through the waist. I finally pulled out my favorite white dress. It was so simple, short and it had the thinnest straps. It was like Nina's but white.

Once we all had our dresses on we went to do our make up and hair. I flat ironed mine letting it cascade over my shoulders admiring it's length. I went very easy on the make up, eyeliner and a pink lipstick.

"Okay ladies I think I'm done" I smiled waiting for the others to finish. I decided to text my mom seeing my parents would be home very soon. I told her I was gonna sleep over at Mia's and that I'll go to school with her tomorrow. I packed and extra bag while everyone finished up. I slipped on a pair of white heels and started walking downstairs, everyone following.

"Let's go"
