Chapter 1

~TWILIGHT P.O.V

I heard my alarm clock go off and I rolled over to go back asleep when I remembered what day it is, "Yes! Today's the day!" I said as I turned my alarm clock off and jumped out of bed.

I passed Sam as she was just getting out of bed, "I call shower first!" I said as I closed the bathroom door behind me.

Sam and I were sharing an apartment that was just across from the Lockwood's.

After ten minutes, with a towel wrapped around me and one in my hair, Sam went to the bathroom to do her stuff while I got dressed.

I dried my hair as much as I could before I brush it, put it in a ponytail, (A/N: Twilight's hairstyle in the ponytail is the same as the first book until the adventure starts, I'll tell you when).

I put on my black pants, blue shirt, and then my lab coat before putting on my glasses, I made breakfast for Sam and I as she came out from the bathroom, fully dressed.

We ate it and after we finished, we put our plates in the sink, Sam washed them as I went to go do my teeth after I finished, Sam went to do her's while I grabbed my bag and put my lunch that I made in as well as my phone and water bottle.

Sam then came out of the bathroom, (A/N: Sorry for another author note but Sam has her glasses on but her hair us down)

We heard a knock at the door and I walked over with following me, I opened the door to see Flint and Steve on the other side, "Morning, Twi! Sam!" he greeted us.

"Morning," I told him with a smile, "Morning, Flint! Are you ready for your first day?" Sam asked him as she held out a bag of food for him, Steve took it and opened it.

"Yeah! Are you?" Flint asked us as he pulled out a giant bag of food from somewhere and tried to give it to me but Sam got it instead, "Whoa!" she yelped as she fell to the ground, "Sam?" Flint asked her in worry.

"I think you killed her,"

About ten minutes later, Earl, Brent, (Who was out of the chicken that ate him in the first book), Manny, Flint, Steve, and I were waiting at the bus stop so we could go to work.

The bus for L.I.V.E Corp arrived and Flint and I got up, "We'll, this is us," I told them as the door to the bus opened, "Good luck with your new jobs, guys," Flint told them.

"Good luck, guys!" Earl told us as we walked inside, "Break a leg, guys!" Brent told us.

"Bye!" Flint said as we waved at them, Manny started to say something but I didn't hear him because the door closed and we were off.

We soon took a seat near the front and Flint looked out the window like a little kid, it was so adorable, the L.I.V.E Corp building then came into view as we got closer and closer.

"Holy smokes..." I muttered in awe as the bus came to a stop, we walked to the front as the door opened, we got out and looked around, "Wow!" Flint muttered before he got a big grin on his face as we walked off.

We walked up some stairs as Flint was looking around in awe the whole time, we got up to the top and two people were waiting for us, well, an ape and a person.

"Good morning, Flint Lockwood, Twilight Sparkle, and Steve. I'm Barb," the ape said before giving us a welcoming smile, "And I'm Coco, her assistant," the girl next to her as he waved to us.

"Eeh! I know, I'm a huge fan, and so is Twi," Flint told them, "Monkey," Steve said looking at her.

"Excuse me. I'm an ape. One of Chester V's most brilliant innovations. An orangutan with a human brain within my ape brain," Barb told us.
