Chapter 8

~FLINT P.O.V

We were now walking in a hallway full of crystals, we just entered the crystal mountain where the FLDSMDFR is, and also, I knew that Twi was acting strange but I didn't say anything.

Also, it was raining outside.

She also was hanging out with Tom the whole time since this morning and hasn't really said a word to me.

Is she... starting to like Tom... again?

We walked through as we looked at the walls before we walked through a waterfall, we all gasped in awe as we looked around, "Magnificent," I heard Chester say as we walked forward.

We got to the edge as we were looking up to see the FLDSMDFR was but we couldn't see it, it must be just above us on the island surround by crystal pillars.

"The FLDSMDFR must be up there," I muttered before I felt the machine start to come off my head and started to pull me over the edge, "Flint!" Twi yelled out before she grabbed my L.I.V.E Corp backpack and the machine fell out of my hands.

The machine fell down and after a few seconds, we heard a splash, "You okay?" Twi asked me as she let go of my bag, I nodded as a yes.

"A very unpleasant fall," Tom said as he looked over the edge, Chester then turned to look at me, "Finish the job, Lockwood. Sparkle," Chester told us.

We nodded, "Yes, sir," I told him before I took off my bag and it landed on the ground but Twi kept her's on, I got ready to jump and I did but I fell down, "Whoa. Ahh!" I screamed but I caught myself on one of the crystal pillars.

I saw Twi out of the corner of my eye jump onto a lower and closer one before climbing up the one that was next to me, I climbed up, got to the top, and hung there.

I sighed before I looked back, saw Chester give me a thumbs up to make sure I was okay and I gave one back with a smile, I stood on top of it as I saw Twi jump onto another one.

I jumped and landed on a blue one, "Whoa! Oh!" I shouted as I was about to fall off the blue one but I jumped to the red one and landed face-first into it.

It hurt but I was fine.

Twi and I soon got to the top and I looked back at Chester, Barb, and Tom, "Made it!" I yelled to him before we climbed inside, we looked up and saw water falling and we looked down to see the FLDSMDFR.

We gasped as its white eye looked at us before I fell down in shock, "FLDSMDFR," I said before I held up the BS-USB, I got up and walked towards it with Twi following behind me.

I then kneeled down in front of it, "Look, I'm sorry I have to do this to you... again. But I can't let your swimming cheespiders destroy Lady Liberty or the world," I said as I opened the USB slot to it and I saw Twi look at the machine in fear.

I closed my eyes and was about to insert it in when I felt Twi put a hand on my shoulder, I opened my eyes and looked over at her, "Twi? Are you okay?" I asked her.

She looked off to the side for a second before she turned back with a sigh, "I have to tell you something... Tom, he-" she started saying but was cut off when the FLDSMDFR started pulsating.

"Whoa..." Twi muttered shocked as she kneeled down next to me, "Marshmallow," the FLDSMDFR said before a bright light went through a vine and we watched it go around, we stood up as it went to a plant.

It then spat out a marshmallow gently and it swam around with others making their way towards it, the marshmallow then swam up to one and the big one started licking it.

More came up to us and we looked around at them, "They're like a family," I muttered in awe as a few jumped off the FLDSMDFR and they swam up to us, we kneeled down and patted one a few times.
