Chapter 10

~FLINT P.O.V

Barry, Coco, The Foodimals who were sitting in her messenger bag, and I ran through the hallways, looking for my friends and Twi.

We passed a doorway before I saw Barry run in, "N-woo," we heard him say as we followed him in, "In here,"

Barry groaned as he looked around as the rest of us walked into the room, "What's going on?" I asked Coco and she shrugged.

We walked past a few foodimals trapped when I saw something that caught my eye, I looked in and gasped, "Twi's bag and lab coat," I muttered fear as Coco looked in as well.

"Sam's backpack. They were here!" Coco added before we looked at each other in fear.

We then heard something growling and we looked to our right to see a cheespider, I screamed before falling to the ground as Coco smiled at it, it turned to look at us as I pushed myself away from it a few steps.

"Flint, It's okay. She's not gonna hurt us," Coco told me as she went to pat her head, "Good cheespider?" I asked just to make sure, Barry stared at him before he turned to the cheespider as Lea, Lee, Blue, and Kea jumped out of Coco's bag.

"Saspa?" Barry asked her, the cheespider then told Barry where they were before they did a handshake as I stood up, Barry then spoke to me, and then I nodded, "Got it, Barry," I told him before I spoke gibberish back to him while Coco looked at me confused.

I looked up at the cheespider, "Thanks, cheespider," I told her, "N-woo!" she said.

We heard whimpering next to us and we looked at the berry's whimpering before Barry did the same, "Barry, use the Grocer Deliverator to save your friends," I told him as I pulled it out and turned it on.

I then stood up again, "We'll go save mine," I said before Coco turned to her foodimal friends, "Do you guys wanna come with or stay here?" she asked them but then they hugged her legs.

She chuckled, "All right," she said before she put Lee and Kea in her bag but had it open so they could see and breathe, while Blue and Lea sat on her shoulders, we then ran over to a green tube and got in.

We looked at Barry and he saluted us, we did the same back before the tube closed and my nose got stuck again, Coco, Lee, Lea, Blue, and Kea started giggling at me.

"Haha. Laugh all you-" I started saying but was cut off when we started to go down and I started screaming.

We soon got to the level we needed to be on, the tube opened and we saw Chester and Barb, but Tom wasn't with them, I heard the foodimals start to whimper in fear, "Don't worry. I won't let them hurt you," I heard Coco whisper to them.

Chester and Barb to look at us, "Coco? Lockwood? You're still alive?" Chester asked us shocked and Coco looked at me confused, "Wait. You died?"

"No," I whispered to her before we walked over to them, I pulled out my cans of Spray-On Shoes, "That's right. Hands up. Give us back our friends, and Twi," I told them as Chester held his hands up.

"Of course! I have them right here," Chester said and motioned to Barb to push a button on a controller, a claw then came out with my friends tied to it, but Twi wasn't there.

Tom and Twi must be somewhere else.

Sam's eyes widened as she saw us, "Flint! You're alive!" she called out, I was confused for a second when I understood, Twi must've told them.

"Sam!" Coco called out in worry, "Guys! Chester, let them go!" I told them with a glare while Coco, Lea, Lee, Kea, and Blue nodded, "Oh, don't worry, Lockwood, Keryn. I'll let them go," Chester said before he clapped his hands, and both Coco and I looked at each other confused.
