~FLINT P.O.V

God, those stairs... So many stairs...

We soon got to where Tom was, which was on the top floor, which explained why there were so many stairs.

"Ah, Chester. What do you-" Tom started saying as he was turning to us as he was holding a latte, he stopped talking when he looked at us.

He then glared at me as I took a step forward, "Lockwood. You're alive... I'm kinda impressed," Tom said with a smirk.

"Cut the crap, Tom!" Earl yelled at him with a glare, Tom chuckled, "Whoa. Calm down there," Tom told him.

"Listen, Tom, I'm saying this while trying to control my anger. Just give us Twilight, take the TNCHIP off her, and we'll let you go. But with a punch by me as well," Sam told him before she held up her fist.

Tom thought for a second before shaking his head, "Nah. As much as I want to leave free, and I don't want a punch. And I'm not giving Twily up to Lockwood," he said before he glared at me.

"Why are you doing this, anyway?" I asked him confused.

We then heard the door open and we looked to see someone walk in, but they had a hood over their face.

We looked at them as I felt my heart start to beat faster.

They took their hood off and I gasped my heart-shattering.

"Hello, Flint Lockwood,"

I gasped as I felt tears brim my eyes as I saw Twi standing in front of us, Coco and Barb gasped in shock while Earl, Manny, and Brent stared in shock, Barry, Lee, Lea, Kea, Blue, and Crash looked at her confused while Sam looked furious.

"What did you do to her?!" Sam yelled out as she went ran over to Twi, but Earl and Coco stopped her as Twi walked over to Tom.

I stared at her with wide eyes as she walked over to him, she grabbed his hand and kissed him on the cheek.

"Ah. The taste of sweet revenge," Tom said with a smirk, "What do you mean?" Coco asked him with a glare.

Twi then walked off to the side and stood there, I also saw out of the corner of my eye that Barb was sneaking over to the control station he was standing at.

"You see... Back over six months ago, when the FLDSMDFR made Flint famous on this island, I was sitting in a cafe, just like any old day in New York. I looked up and saw the news where Sam was doing a take on Weather News Network, and I saw Twily and someone I didn't recognize, I saw that she was happy and I felt guilty. When I heard that Swallow Falls was having a grand reopening and I decided to go to apologize to Twily with everything I-" Tom started saying but Sam cut him off.

"That's bullish*t. You wouldn't apologize," Sam said with a glare but Tom shook his head, "Well I was planning too. But then when I got there, I couldn't find her, then the whole food storm thing happened, but then... Flint and Twily kissed and I was so angry," Tom said with a glare.

"So. Twi's allowed to love whoever she likes!" I shouted at him, trying to keep my feelings down, "I know that," he said with an eye roll.

"Then why are you controlling her?!" Coco asked him with pure frustration, "To get revenge on Flint Lockwood," he said and I gasped as I felt everyone look at me, "Yes. It was so easy too. Make his friends turn against him, have Twily ignore him, have his idol betray him, him finding out that I'm gonna mind-control Twily, then kill him. It was gonna be so easy. Then once I had Twily under my control and his friends dead, I was gonna find his father and Coco, send Coco back to her home and make sure she can't come back and kill his father. Then I would have Twily all to myself and Chester would have the foodimals," Tom said before he started chuckling again.
