Chapter 3

~TWILIGHT P.O.V

We were standing in front of Sam's and I apartment, she looked like she just got out of bed, which was true.

"Big news. We're going back to Swallow Falls to destroy the FLDSMDFR, which is creating deadly food monsters, which are trying to learn to swim so they can attack Lady Liberty!" Flint explained to her while doing poses and actions to the explanation.

I nodded in confirmation to his facts, Sam looked like she was trying to stay awake the entire time, "Sam?" I asked her, waiting for her to respond.

"Wait, you're both doing it alone?" Sam asked confused, "We'll, yeah, but please don't my Dad. If he finds out I'm going back to Swallow Falls, he's gonna wanna come too," Flint told her.

"Well, I'm coming," she told us and our eyes widened, "What? No!" I told her with a shocked look.

"Yeah, we promised Chester V we would go alone," Flint told her, she looked at us.

Flint and I exchanged a look before we looked back at her, "There's no talking you out of this, is there?" Flint asked with a worried look.

"Nope," Sam said before she closed the door, "Wait! Sam, it's gonna be deadly dangerous with a good chance of death," I told her and she opened the door slightly.

"And that's why we'll need help. Now if you excuse me, I wanna get as much sleep as possible. Night!" she said before she shut the door.

"Wait, Sam don't-" I tried to say but she locked the door, "-Lock the door..." I muttered before I face-palmed.

"Wait. Don't you have a key to get in?" Flint asked me before I turned to him, "No. Because I didn't think we were heading back to L.I.V.E Corp earlier, so I didn't take it with me," I told him.

"Oh..." Flint muttered.

"So... Can I crash at your place?"

So here we were, me lying on his bed, just in my shirt and shorts, with Flint lying on the floor, with Steve sleeping in his clothes bin.

I was blushing as I was crossing my arms, and I knew Flint was doing the same.

I sighed before I turned to Flint, "You know what. Come here," I said as I pointed next to me, Flint sat up, looking at me with shock.

"Are you sure?" he asked me with a stutter, I nodded with a blush, he got up from the floor and walked over before lying down next to me.

It was really awkward for a few minutes before I got an idea, a stupid one, but an idea.

I rolled over to look at him and wrapped my arms around his body and I pulled him slightly closer, both of us were blushing red at this point.

"I-is t-this okay?" I asked him while stuttering, he didn't say anything but just nodded, I smiled before I laid my head on his chest and closed my eyes.

I last thing I felt was Flint pulling the covers over us and I felt him wrap his arms around my waist.

The last thing I heard before falling asleep was Flint muttering, "Night, Twi,"

I smiled as I completely fell asleep.

THE NEXT DAY...

I woke up to someone poking me, but it felt like human hands, not monkey hands, I groaned as I felt arms tighten around me.
