(Tiki's POV)

Today is the big day. Today is the day I will hopefully regain function in my legs again, even for only walking from the couch to the bathroom and back.

Sayori helped me into the car. "You sure you want to wear your boots? Simple shoes might be less annoying for your session," she queried.

"Yes, I'm sure. I can always take them off if I need to." I smiled at her. "Don't worry about me. I'll be fine."

The Doki beamed. "I want to hear all about it when you get back."

"And I shall tell you. Now go and get Caleb. He is taking a while to prepare himself," I shooed. Sayori tossed my wheelchair in the trunk and ran inside.

Soon after, Caleb and I had set out for the clinic. He told me it would be full of other patients like myself, other people who had similar injuries to me. I think it will be quite enlightening.

On the way there I confessed something. "You know, the whole situation with Monika and Thomas has me scared. What if he shows up here?" I fretted.

"He won't, I'm sure of it," Caleb remarked. "He wants to cripple Characters, not see crippled ones." His words did not reassure me in the slightest.

"Remember that incident a few weeks back?" I asked.

"The incident where one of his very few followers shot a Character and killed them? That was a one-off thing," he waved off my concern. He glanced over quickly and noticed I was still fearful. "You brought your dragonstone, right? You can always use that in an emergency."

 "Yeah..." I sighed depressingly.

"Hey, look. We're here," Caleb said to distract me.

He wheeled me inside and we waited our turn. I glanced about the room. It was a relief somewhat to see other people with similar injuries to me. Not that I wished that kind of pain upon them, but it made me happy to know I wasn't suffering alone.

 "Tiki," a therapist called out.

"That's us," Caleb said, grabbing my wheelchair. Caleb and I made our way to a decently-sized room with some workout equipment. The lady who called us sat behind a desk.

"Welcome! I am Katie, your physiotherapist for your recovery," she introduced. I decided I liked her immediately. She was extremely cheerful and bubbly. "Ready to get started?" she asked. I grinned.

(Robyn's POV)

I was making a song with a guy named Henry from my college class. The others have never met him, but they all thought he sounded strange when I talked about him. I thought he was cute, personally.

"I think the drum beats should be like this," he commented, switching the drums up.

"Yeah, that does sound better," I agreed. Someone tapped me on the shoulder. "I'll be back. Natsuki wants to say something to me," I said.

"Okay, come back quickly. I can't work on this without my partner," Henry teased. I blushed and stood up.

"What is it, Natsuki?" I asked.

She crossed her arms. "Are you spending time with your boyfriend again?"

"He's n-not my b-boyfriend! We got paired together for the college project," I stammered.

"Really? Your stammering says otherwise," she rolled her eyes. "Anyway, Robin's brought Chrom, Lissa, Lucina, and Owain to see Tiki."

"What? I thought she wasn't coming back for another hour-and-a-half."

Natsuki forced me to stare at my computer screen. "Look at the time, dumbass."

My eyes widened. "She's due in ten minutes!"

"Yeah, duh. Maybe if you weren't flirting with your boyfriend you would've noticed," she chided.

I wasn't listening to her. I put my headset on. "I'm really sorry, but my friends just showed up. I have to go," I apologised.

"It's fine. We'll continue this later," Henry said. He was so understanding. I logged off and followed the pink-haired tsundere to the living room.

"Hey, guys. Sorry, I didn't even notice the time," I explained.

"It's all good. You're here, which is all that matters," Lissa smiled. I took a seat.

"I thought Morgan would want to be here for Tiki," I remarked to make conversation.

"She wanted to make time, but she has to complete a team exercise to further her quest for knowledge," Owain answered.

"In simple terms, she has to complete her school project she put off," Robin translated. That made a lot more sense.

"She will come when she is finished with it," Lucina added.

"In the meantime, have you got any more of your cupcakes? After tasting them last time I think I've fallen in love with them," Lissa asked Natsuki.

The Doki looked offended. "Of course I do. I have to make them every second day to keep up with the demand." She trotted meaningfully to the kitchen.

I glanced at the clock. "They'll be home any minute now," I commented.

Chrom smiled. "I can't wait to see Tiki's improvement."
