As Reina continued to enjoy her peaceful moment with the cat in the palace garden, unaware of the presence lurking behind her, the scene shifted back to a heated conversation between Seraphin and Damian in a secluded corner of the ballroom.
Seraphin's face was flushed with anger as she ranted to Damian about the humiliation she had endured at the hands of Reina. "Can you believe her audacity?" she exclaimed, her voice dripping with disdain. "She waltzes in here as if she owns the place, flaunting her defiance for all to see."
Damian listened intently, his expression unreadable as he swirled his wine cup. "Don't you think she has changed suddenly?" he mused, his tone contemplative. "The way she carries herself now... Reina used to be so timid and naive. She was even scared to look anyone in the eye. But now..."
Seraphin's frustration simmered as she nodded in agreement. "Exactly! It's as if she's transformed overnight. And I still don't understand how she managed to get her hands on the invitation. It's simply baffling."
