Born

In the hush of dawn's first light,
A cry pierces the silent night,
Birth, the start of life's great flight,
A new soul joins the world, so bright.

Tiny fingers, eyes shut tight,
A future unwritten, holding might,
Each breath a promise, pure and right,
In the warmth of love's tender sight.

From the womb's embrace, to arms open wide,
A journey begins, with the world as guide,
Innocence personified, in time's great tide,
A miracle of life, in which we all confide.

So welcome, little one, to this vast expanse,
May you dance the dreamer's eternal dance,
With every giggle, may you enhance,
The beauty of life, at every chance.
