✨ CHAPTER 16✨

As Reyansh accompanied Tara to her home, he couldn't shake off the concern etched on her face. Despite her insistence that she was fine, her weariness was palpable. Reyansh couldn't leave her alone, not when she looked so vulnerable

Tara : yaha se right..

Reyansh: okay

Reyansh's car stopped in front of Tara's house. Tara tried to  get out of the car but she's still having problem with her leg so..

Reyansh: wait
(He passes his hand to her tara gave her hands  hesitatingly.

Upon entering Tara's house, Reyansh was greeted by the sight of her father, Rajveer, sitting in the drawing area. As their eyes met, Reyansh felt a surge of nostalgia wash over him. "Namaste uncle," Reyansh greeted respectfully, but
Rajveer's expression remained blank.
"Namaste, but Meine apko pehchana nhi," Rajveer confessed, his confusion evident.

Tara was about to say " he's my" ...
When Reyansh interrupted her and said  "Uncle, mein Ansh... apke friend Shekar Agnihotri ka beta Ansh... ".

he explained, a hint of amusement coloring his tone.

Rajveer's memory jogged as he realized Reyansh's connection to his past. "Tum Shekar ke bete ho,"

he exclaimed, a smile spreading across his features. "Are tum itne bade ho gaye beta!"

As Reyansh and Rajveer exchanged pleasantries,the Memories of her (Tara) childhood flooded her mind as Reyansh's revelation about his true identity left Tara speechless. The realization that her boss was her long-lost childhood friend, Ansh,
With whom she used to play, left her stunned.

Even Reyansh was taken aback by the revelation, unable to comprehend how he had failed to recognize that Tara his employee is the the Same  Tara , his childhood bestie, they girl to whom he  used to say " when will grow up, we'll get married to each other just like mom and dad." But  sadly one day she disappeared.

Their thoughts were interrupted when they heard,

Are Tara, beta apne friend ko aise hi khada rakhogi kya,
Ansh beta aao baitho,"

(Why are you  standing there come inside and sit beta)

Rajveer invited warmly, his smile reflecting the joy of reconnecting with Reyansh.

Reyansh: Ji Uncle.

Rajveer: how's shekhar?

Reyansh: he's good uncle.

Rajveer : he's owning the infrastructure  industry. Newspaper mein aksar chhaya rehta hai .

Reyansh just give a smile,but he still have curiosity so he asked " Uncle, apka transfer ho gya tha, aap wapas shift kab hue yahan?

(Uncle, you were transferred (Army). when did you return here?)

Rajveer: It's been almost 5-6 years since we came back after  my retirement (army) son.

Reyansh: Aree! Uncle don't k know our address...
Then why you haven't meet us ?

Rajveer jokingly say: Aree beta !
Shekhar, has become a great man so I thought he would  not recognize me".

Reyansh :uncle he always  used to talk about the anecdotes of his and yours.
dad misses you a lot. you are like a brother to him."

"Rajveer" I know, my child."

Rajveer: aree! Tara you haven't told us that you've been in contact with Reyansh..

Tara: Papa, He's reyansh.. Reyansh sir, I'm working In his company.I wasn't aware about it, that he is ansh.. Reyansh sir..

While Reyansh  getting all the flashbacks of their interactions.

Rajveer chuckled and say "don't you  guys recognize your childhood best friend.."

They both smile nervously..

Rajveer calls his wife " Deepika, come and look who has come here.."

Deepika : "kon hai?"

Reyansh: "Namaste! Aunty"

Being confused Deepika looked towards rajveer.
Rajveer: you too have not  recognised him na,  he is shekhar's son Reyansh.

Deepika : "Areee! Tum Reyansh ho.. how are you beta?"

Reyansh: "I'm good aunty, how are you?"
Deepika : "Main bhi theek hu beta,"

Author's pov:
They were talking with eachother  when suddenly  Devika entered the room and after having looked at Reyansh. She robbed  her eyes twice.She get excited to Reyansh at her house.

Devika:  " o my god!  Are you for real, are you The Og Reyansh "

Reyansh hesitatingly say: "yes"

Devika dramatic queen: "  Am I dreaming or what? Di please hit  me.

Tara actually give her one.
Devika: ooh! So I'm not dreaming, you know I'm fan of your singing, aap kahan ho aaj kal, singing kyun chhod di
(Where are you nowdays and why you leave singing?)
Reyansh felt bit nervous as  she said so many words in one breathe.

Rajveer: "Tum bhi janti ho?"
Deepika: obviously he is s my Spotify's most played artist".

Rajveer:" tum  Singer bhi ho ?beta."
Reyansh :" ji uncle thoda bohot "
(Yes uncle, little bit.)

After talking a while more about old days.

Deepika : "dinner is ready .."

Rajveer: "aao beta "

Reyansh: "Aree nhi uncle aap log kariye,mein chalta hu "

Rajveer (in authorative voice ): you have to eat , beta I will not  let  you go  without having  dinner with us.
