A ZRS security officer sat in the security room, idling around, attempting to stave off the boredom when he happened to look at the camera just in time to see Power, Denji, and Aki walk past.

Power's appearance was different, as if her horns grew in size.

He raised an eyebrow and reached for the radio.

"Guys, keep n' eye out for Power, okay?" He said before setting the radio back down.

...

A ZRS security officer walked down the hallway towards a corner when he unintentionally bumped into Aki.

"Shit, sorry about that." He said.

"Sorry." Aki said.

He looked at Denji.

"Hey, Chainsaw Man." He said.

"Sup." Denji said.

When he glanced at Power, he performed a double take to look at her.

"Uh, Power, right? What happened to your horns? They... grew." He said.

"Ha! As if you could comprehend that puny mortal!" Power said enthusiastically.

"Sure..." He said.

"Have you seen Miss Makima anywhere?" Aki asked.

"Uh, I just saw her a second ago, she's-"

"I'm right here, Aki." Makima said from behind the group, causing everyone to turn towards her in quick sucession.

"Power, you're different today." She said.

Power said nothing.

"We are here to see if you knew anything about this." Aki said.

Makima approached Power, raising her finger and gently pressing it against Power's right horn.

"I see..." She said inquisitivly.

"Power drank too much blood, I suppose from the swarm of zombies." She said.

"When Power punched me, I almost went through the roof." Denji said.

"Whenever Power consumes a lot of blood at once, her power increases. However, I do have a solution for this."

"Oh?" Denji said.

"We will have to drain her blood to temper her strength." She said.

Power began sweating nervously.

"Adiel, can you please take Power to the medical ward?" Makima said.

"Yes, Ma'am." Adiel said, approaching Power.

"Come fiend." Adiel said as Power reluctantly followed him with him, grabbing her arm and pulling her away.

...

Colonel Johan and Captain Jansen were in the sub levels of the building with Katana man bound to a chair.

Katana man was bloody as Jansen beat him with a long, slim stick that bent with every blow.

"Cease." Johan said as Jansen stopped and stood to the side.

"Ready to confess yet?" He asked, lowering his head to look at him eye to eye with his hands on his knees.

Katana man looked up and spit in his face, hitting Johan on the cheek with blood that trickled down his face.

Johan sighed and turned and walked to a table.

"Have a smoke break, Jansen."

"Yes, sir."

As the two lit cigarettes, Johan lit another cigarette and approached Katana man, holding it out to him.

Katana man took the cigarette between his lips, taking several puffs as the two mercenaries took a break.

"This is one tough son of a bitch." Johan said.

"Yeah, I'm impressed, and I don't get impressed very easily." Jansen said.

"I wish we had that cool Power Makima has." Johan said, briefly puffing his cigarette before he and Jansen froze, looking up at each other as an idea sparked in their heads.

"You thinking what I'm thinking, Boss?" Jansen asked.

"Yep." He said, taking the cigarette and dropping it on the floor.

Jansen followed, crushing both cigarettes with his boot.

Johan reached for his radio, holding it up to his face.

"CP, this is Colonel Johan, send a request for Miss Makima to meet us in the sub basement level." He said.

"Copy that, sending request." CP said.

"Makima?" Katana man asked.

"Yep. You dun goofed up, boyo." Jansen said mockingly.

Katana man's stoic look briefly gave way to a look of absolutely fear before returning to a less confident stoic look.

...

As two Zero Risk Security officers stood in the room, Power was strapped to the chair as a doctor in a white coat, and surgical mask stood nearby, adjusting the equipment, setting up two blood bags.

"Are you ready, Power?" Makima asked.

Power did not respond as beads of sweat pooled at the top of her forehead that poured down her face.

She slightly trembled from being absolutely terrified.

The doctor looked at Power, then Makima, who gave him a nod.

The doctor inserted the needle into Power's vein in the soft part of her elbow, which made her wince.

One guard turned his head to the left to look away.

"Ek fokken haat naalde." The guard said quietly.

"Ek ook." The other said softly.

Makima briefly glanced at the two guards and turned her attention to Power, who was growing paler.

One bag of blood was filled as her horns began to shrink.

"There's one." The doctor said, removing the hose from the needle and blood bag, inserting it into the empty one, and resumed the process.

As the process continued, Power grew paler until she was ghost white.

"Stuur Makima dadelik na die sub-keldervlak, kolonel Johan se versoek." The radio on the guards said.

"Miss Makima, Ma'am, Colonel Johan requests your presence in the sub basement level." He said.

Makima nodded and turned to the guards.

"Assist Power, ensure she gets something to eat after this." She said.

"Do you need an escort, Ma'am?"

"No." She said sharply, leaving the room and closing the door behind her gently.

The guard looked at Power, who was ghost white and barely moving.

"Done." The doctor said.

"Doc, is she going to be okay? Most things don't live that long without all their blood." The guard said.

"She's fine, I have done this a lot with her. That's why she hates me. She's harmless now, but if Makima wasn't there, she would have killed me." He said.

The doctor removed the needle and unstrapped Power.

"There you go, Power. All better." He said.

The guards approached Power on both sides and lifted her to her feet.

She was unsteady, and they both held onto her.

"Just get her something to eat, and she'll be right as rain." The doctor said.

The guards nodded and helped Power out the door and towards the canteen.
