Adrian " no no no this is not happening... Winnie where are you!"
Ace "im sure she just went outside"
Adrian "maybe..."
Ace "well since were skipping school we could go look for her"
Adrian "really you don't mind"
Ace " not at all "
They got dressed and left Adrian went to all the places Winnie loved to go and Ace followed
After 3 hours of searching Adrian was on the verge of tears
What if she never saw her baby again
What if she's in trouble
What if she's hurt
then she remember one last place she could be
Adrian " i have one more place that she might be wait here"
Ace "why can't i come with"
Adrian "well if you dont mind potentially being attacked then you can"
Ace "where on earth are we going?!?!?!"
Adrian didn't say anything and started running
She ran with determination of finding the love of her life, her best friend
Adrian ran so fast she didn't realize she left Ace behind
When reached her destination she looked behind her for Ace and saw a far away figure running towards her
Ace "damn you..... run... fast" he said out of breath
Adrian "really I normally am not"
Ace "you must REALLY love your cat then"
Adrian smiled
She went into an ally where she had found Winnie when she was a kitten
FLASHBACK 5 YEARS AGO
It was Adrian's first day in middle school and it was pretty tough
She got made fun of for falling during lunch, and got yelled at by a teacher who her blamed her for something she didn't do
She didn't want to go home because her parents had been fighting all week
As Adrian was walking lost in thought she heard something moving in a dumpster in the alleyway
Out of curiosity she went closer
Adrian "hello?"
The moving stoped
Adrian "is anyone there?"
She peeked in the dumpster and found a tiny ginger kitten looking for food
Adrian "hello" she said softly
The kitten looked up at her curiously
Adrian smiled "who do we have here?" She spoke in a very soft tone as to not scare her
Winnie "meow"
Adrian 'can i pick you up"
Winnie "meow" the cat the went close to her standing on her hind legs as if she had understood what Adrian said
