Mairon called out, her serene and quiet whisper-like voice reaching everyone in the hall even though such a thing should be impossible given the level of her tone and the amount of chatter going on among all the guests of the Palantír Hall.
"Let's resume..." she urged them calmly, and everyone respectfully decided that they should not assume that just because the second apostle of the Goddess was soft spoken that she was harmless – they thought of Cale as a prime example of how looks could be deceiving.
'No, he's a human. However, the power of nature is strong in this one.'
He was not a Dragon. The TCF!Dragons scoffed and denied the truth in the Elemental's reply to Jeet's question. Since they had now claimed Cale as one of theirs, TCF!Rasheel decided that when he got back he would spread the rumour to all those chatty Elementals, so next time they met Cale, they would know that he was special and very dear to all the dragons in their world.
"Considering he's the reason our world survived the after all, it's only proper that everyone should know about his greatness... Ahhh, I wonder if Cale Henituse will praise me if the Elementals do a good job of telling all the elves and everyone who can understand them that Cale was an honorary dragon." TCF!Rasheel spent a few minutes rolling around his lounger as he considered how he would go about doing this great thing for Cale and what kind of exuberant praise Cale would shower him with when he eventually found out about it. It did not occur to TCF!Rasheel that Cale would faint if he ever learned about TCF!Rasheel's crazy idea.
However, Jeet had heard about this noble and the things that he had done. Pendrick had explained it all to him. Pendrick also mentioned that this human had agreed to help them without asking for any compensation.
"Wait... that's not like you at all Dongsaeng?!" TCF!Alberu protested wondering if Cale had somehow momentarily lost his mind back then and decided to work for free.
"I accepted Pendrick's healing services as payment... as well as his offer to take us to meet Eruhaben as repayment... oh and I even got the retirement letter that my ancient power once wrote too. So I got paid... even thought the elves don't think I did." Cale answered the perplexed TCF!Alberu. After his explanation, TCF!Alberu let out a satisfied hum and nodded in relief.
"That's more like it." He agreed and returned his gaze to the Palantír as the record continued.Even though Elves did not like humans, they liked lifeforms that were pure and had a sense of responsibility. Cale could see an old Elf with white hair and beard walking toward them. It was the Elf Chief. However, unfortunately, he did not have time to greet her.
"Cale-nim, everyone has arrived."TBOAH!Eruhaben and TCF!Eruhaben recognized her, they'd met her only a few times, never more than that because it bothered them how much Elves lost their minds whenever a dragon was near, the only elf that they bonded with from this village was Pendrick. TBOAH!Eruhaben doubted that the other Elves had faired any better if even Pendrick had died in their TBOAH!World.
Cale saw that everyone had arrived and walked toward the front of the wall. Choi Han and Beacrox followed next to him. Cale was walking confidently, as if he was walking on top of the walls of the Henituse castle walls. These walls were too shabby to be called castle walls. He could see animals rushing toward them from below the wall.
Deruth hummed to himself and nodded, agreeing with Cale's assessment of the walls surrounding the Elf Village – it certainly offered and inspired even less security and reassurance than any wall he'd ever seen before. However, he was not about to offer Mueller's expertise to assist them, not when Cale himself had not done so even after seeing the state of their defences.
Deruth deduced that there must have been a reason for Cale not to get involved and for once he was genuinely relieved for whatever reason it was that his son had not gotten involved too deeply with the elves. Deruth had seen how popular Cale was already with the Dragons, he was sure his son might collapse from the shock if the Elves started treating him as if he were also on par with these great and mighty beings.
