"It has been a week since the discussion of Yunjin and my marriage. We've been on lots of dates, and I've enjoyed every single one of them. However, ever since the announcement of our engagement, the rumors that had been spreading around the campus like wildfire have calmed down, which i'm glad about . It seems our decision has brought a sense of closure to the gossip mill." I reflected, grateful for the respite from the constant scrutiny.

"Yunjin and I have had the chance to bond on deeper level , beyond the initial circumstances of our arrangement. I find myself growing more fond of her with each passing day and I can sense a genuine connection blossoming between us."

As I looked at Yunjin, who's busy teaching a few students eager to learn deeper about English phrases, her eyes sparkled with joy and happiness, reaffirming my belief that our decision was the right one. Despite the unconventional beginnings of our relationship, I couldn't help but feel hopeful about the future we were building together.

"Wow, this is the first time in forever I've seen my best friend so in love with someone. " Kazuha remarked, her eyes filled with genuine curiosity as she listened intently to my stories about Yunjin and me.

I chuckled softly, feeling warmth spread through me at Kazuha's words. "Yeah, now tell me, how was your weekend in Japan?" I inquired.

"Oh, you know, it was meh.. nothing new" she replied.

I furrowed my brows slightly, sensing that something was off. Her answer was bland, which was so unlike her. The Kazuha I know would tell me every single detail about her life there.

"Wait a minute," I interjected, a note of concern creeping into my voice. "Are you sure everything's okay? You're not usually this... vague."

Kazuha hesitated for a moment, her expression betraying a hint of reluctance. "Well, actually, there was something-"

Her words were cut off by the sound of the bell ringing. She immediately packing her bags and got up. "I'm so sorry ,Y/N, I have to go to my ballet practice , let's grab lunch together later."

"Ah ,actually, Yunjin is taking me out for lunch later , but there's always another time ,right?"

As Kazuha hurried off to her ballet practice, I couldn't shake the feeling of unease that lingered in the air. Her abrupt departure and the unfinished conversation left me feeling unsettled, wondering what she had been about to reveal.

Shrugging off my concerns for the moment, I gathered my belongings and made my way to Yunjin, who had been waiting for me to get to our next class , which happened to be an arts class. Yunjin was taking over Ms. Son's class since she had meetings to attend.

Yunjin noticed the furrowed in my brow and reached out to grasp my hand, concern evident in her eyes. "Is everything okay, sweetheart? You seem a bit distracted."

Hearing the endearment from her voice, I couldn't help but smile. "Hey, I told you not to call me that here."

"Why not? No one's around anyway," she defended.

"Sure, no one's around, but that endearment, let alone coming from your sweet voice, makes me want to kiss you so bad." I confessed, trying to lighten up the mood. I really didn't want to show her the worry I felt towards Kazuha earlier.

Yunjin's cheeks flushed slightly at my words, but quickly composed herself, her gaze softening with affection. "Well, in that case, maybe we should save the kissing for later or else.." she teased , a playful glint in her eyes as she leaned in closer.

"Huh, or else what?" I asked curiously.

"Or else we might end up with a surprise visit from grandpa," she joked, her tone light- hearted " I don't think he'd appreciate finding his granddaughters kissing around his university."

Despite the lingering worry about Kazuha, I couldn't help but feel a surge of warmth at Yunjin's playful response. With her by my side, I knew that whatever challenges lay ahead, we would face them together, one step at a time.

Not long after, Yunjin and I arrived in our class, and as expected, all eyes were on us. I made my way to my seat, plastering a fake smile on my face as i greeted my classmates, who smiled back at me.

As I settled into my seat, I heard someone psst and calling me in whispers. I looked around and noticed Somi was trying to get my attention. "Hey, Zuha told me to pass this drink to you," she informed, holding out a bottle towards me.

"Oh, thanks. I was feeling thirsty after the long walk to get here." I replied, taking the drink and twisting off the bottle cap.

Somi looked at me teasingly, "Well, congratulations on your engagement, Y/N. I knew you had a thing for older women," she said, wiggling her brows up and down mischievously.

Upon hearing the last sentence, I choke on my drink and nearly turned into water fountain. "T-thanks for making me choke on this drink, Somi-yah," I said sarcastically, trying to regain my composure as I wiped away the stray droplets.

I heard Yunjin asking concernedly, "Is everything alright there?"

Both Somi and I smiled at Yunjin, "Everything is fine here, Miss." We replied.

As I recovered from my mini choking episode, Somi couldn't help but giggle at my expense. I shot her a playful glare before taking a deep breath to steady myself.

"Seriously, Somi. You always know how to keep things interesting," I remarked, trying to shake off the embarrassment of nearly spitting out my drink in front of the entire class.

Somi grinned cheekily. "Hey,what are friends for if not to add a little spice to your life?" she replied, her eyes twinkling with mischief.

I couldn't help but chuckle at her response, grateful for her lightheartedness in what could have been an awkward moment. Despite the teasing, I knew Somi meant well, and her presence never failed to bring a smile to my face.

As the class resumed and the lesson began, I found myself grateful for the distraction, eager to immerse myself in the world of art and creativity. And as I glanced over at Yunjin, who was engrossed in teaching the class, I felt a sense of peace settle over me, knowing that no matter what challenges or surprises life threw our way, I had wonderful friends and a supportive partner by my side.
