The blood trickled from my mouth. It hurt, but the pain was worth it. The ruby-red liquid trickled into my mouth. Oh, the sweet taste of blood; it would always cleanse my palette. I dropped to the ground, sucking my arm. The skin ripped and tore, leaving more of my favorite snack behind. Blood trickled from my neck like a river. I moaned in pleasure. More blood trickled out and trickled down my chest as my dress tore further, exposing more of my body. My flesh melted off as I dug my fingers into my arm.

Not enough; I needed more. There was no escape; I could only think of one thing to fix this problem. I needed more to seal the erge growing in me. I could feel it like fire building up in my heart.

I smiled and climbed up my apartment wall and onto a shelf. I laughed hysterically as my feet hung over the edge. I looked at the crowd below. My father had put so much effort into making me not be seen again. But here I was on top of his wall, hidden in plain sight. No one could find me now. No! They can't catch me! This is too easy! I had escaped all these years, only to have some men stumble upon me in the middle of the night.

He was dead but why did his word stay alive? It was all like show and tell, I was on display for all those fuckers to see and use. They would all see, all thoses men. I had already kill them but the anger still ranged in me even 143 years later. Being strapped to that bed thoses vidoes I was forced into. Like a all you could eat bafe. I hate everything in that curseid city. I lost control and began tearing at myself. I opened the window and jumped out of the ten story building falling deeper, the air pushing on my body. I grabbed on of the polls connecting two buildings and swung onto the aley floor. I opened my eyes slowly and looked around. Nothing moved except the faint shadows from the street lights and cars passing by. This was perfect. Now I didn't need any protection against the darkness. The only light came from the moon, high in the sky. But there were others out at this time of night. Humans never stayed out late unless they were drunk, high, or passed out.

There were many people out here, and soon someone would pass by. They would see my shredded flesh hanging loosely from my bones, and the stench of death would waft through the air. Yes, that would be perfect, a new victim to help cleanse my empty soul. I stood and waited patiently as night turned to day. My bones creaked as I stretched my muscles, trying to loosen them up. Finally, I began to move toward the edge of the building, and before long, I was crawling down the side. The ground seemed very far away, but if I had to crawl, it wasn't going to be hard.

I lay flat on my stomach and started to inch forward. This went on until I reached the bottom. I stopped and quickly wiped the dirt and dried blood from my face. Nothing was visible except dirt and sand. I ran across the road, using the brick walls to steady myself. I rounded the corner and saw two men sitting outside, drinking coffee and smoking cigarettes. This wouldn't do. I backed up and tried to hide behind a trash can. "Oh, look, we got another little weirdo." One of the men said this as he took another drag on his cigarette.

"I wonder how you managed to get yourself hurt." The other man rolled his eyes. I leaped out my legs hitting the ground with a bang.. They jumped up, scattering their drinks everywhere. They turned to look and screamed. I grinned widely, showing my jagged teeth. One grabbed his pistol and aimed at me, while the other pulled his gun and shot.

But before he could pull the trigger, I twisted the barrel. I pulled it back until the bullets popped out of the chamber. He looked up at me. "What the hell?" he said. "You're not human!" he exclaimed. He raised his hands and took a step back. His partner had already bolted down the street. "Come on, man, you know what she is." His friend said, "Get her, kill her, get her out of here!" he yelled.

I grabbed the man's leg and pulled. He screamed in agony and fell to the ground. I crawled on top of him and tore his pants off. I bit his inner thigh and ripped open the artery. His screams echoed down the empty street. Blood spurted from the wound and his mouth. I swallowed a mouthful and looked at the other man. He stood, staring in shock. His body shook, and his eyes rolled back in his head. "Please..." he begged. I smiled and stood up. I walked towards him, still holding the gun.

"You know who I am," I whispered, my breath hot in his ear.

"Yes, but why are you doing this?" He yelled.

"Because I can." I smiled and pulled the trigger. The man dropped to the ground, dead. I stood, looking at the man's lifeless body. His eyes were blank, his mouth slightly parted, his lips blue, his skin pale, and his hair matted and dirty. I kneeled and took his hand. I held his lifeless body against mine, feeling his warmth. His pulse beat faintly beneath his skin. I leaned forward and licked his neck. I felt his heartbeat quicken, then slow. His eyes opened, and he stared up at me.

"Please..." he said. "I'm sorry." He closed his eyes and began crying. I held him tight, letting him sob against me.

"There is no need to apologize. I just want you to join me in the Crimson Nightmares." I smiled wickedly. "And maybe you will be part of the next batch of Crimson Nightmares. Dont worry, I kill some for you to fill."
