Oh, Eliz, it wasn't your fault. Why would she think that? I hate seeing her like this. Oh little boy, you will be dead when I find you. I will rip off your arms, then your legs. Soon you will bleed out, so I will rip off your face.

I pressed down hard on the gas, making the car accelerate. Eliz had her head laid against the window. Her eyes were shut, and her breathing was soft and low. She was so cute when she slept. Though she would never admit it, she looked cute. The light turns green. I beat the red light. I pulled up to the secluded driveway, outside the mafia compound.

I parked the car. With Eliz on the passenger seat and whispering in her ear, "Wake up," I opened her door, helping her out of the car. "We have to find the doctor. I hear him say something about the Crimson Mafia."

"Okay." She nodded drowsily. Her eyes were half open.

"He is on the third floor. You go there while I go find the boss."

She nodded once more, her eyes closing. I locked the car door, then ran to the door with Eliz right behind me. A large screan opened, and I presed my hand down on the green pad, letting it scan and open.

I rushed down the hall and up the stairs. Boss, where are you? I found him on the fourth floor of Chuuyas office. It had guns sparking on the wall, all nicely polished and clean.

"Hello, welome." Aram turned to me.

"Hi, you called Eliz—I mean Elizaveta." Chuuya nodded and looked torn at Aram.

"Yes, I was wondering if I could have a word with you.

Chuuya quickly grabbed two pistols and a cleaning cloth before I had time to react. With

one hand, he turned the ceiling fan too high and removed the cloth from his gun. With the other hand, he sprayed the cloth on the gun. All the while, he whispered to Aram.

Chuuya turned to me. His ginger hair had two strands of long hair in front of his ear, and he had two large earrings on each ear. They were two rubes. His eyes were bright red, like fire. "Come this way, I will show you the boy." Chuuya waved for me to follow him out the door. Once out the door, he stopped and turned to me. "Do not talk to the boss about other mafias. I think something is threatening us. We need to be careful." I nodded. The boss was scared. That hadn't happened since I first met him. I know Chuuya is completely committed to the mafia and would do anything to see it succeed. But what had made him so scared?

Chuuya led me down the halls and past several rooms until we reached a door marked "Doctor's room."

Chuuya unlocked the door and opened it. The boy I had seen yesterday was sitting in the chair, asleep, with brown hair covering his eyes and a mess. "Isidor is here; the boss has called him." I sat down next to the boy and woke him up. "Hello, the boss has called Isidor." The boy's eyes snapped open, and he jumped up. "No, not the boss. He's going to kill me." The boy was terrified. "Don't worry. He won't kill you. He will protect you."

The door swung open, and Isidor walked in. Isidor's normally warm eyes were cold and evil. He looked as if he would tear the boy apart if given the chance.

"Hello, Oh, and Hello Gerald, hello Chuuya." The boy looked at me and then at Isidor.

"Are you going to kill me?"

"Yes," Isidor hissed.

"Isidor, control your emotions." Chuuya gave Isidor a turn.

"Oh, I will; trust me, I will," Isidor laughed, and a twisted grin spread across his face. "So what is the boy's name?"

"Aleksandr," I replied.

"This boy needs to be killed. He ate some of the expected chemicals. Either he pays or he dies."
