As the morning light filtered through the curtains, Hanni stretched lazily in bed, relishing the warmth of the sheets against her skin. She turned to find Minji still sleeping peacefully beside her, her features softened in the gentle glow of dawn.
Hanni couldn't help but admire the delicate curve of Minji's cheek and the way her lashes fluttered ever so slightly as she dreamed. It was a sight that filled Hanni with a sense of contentment she hadn't felt in a long time.
With a soft sigh, Hanni reluctantly untangled herself from the covers and slipped out of bed, careful not to disturb Minji's slumber. She padded quietly across the room, her thoughts swirling with the events of the previous night.
As she made her way to the bathroom, Hanni couldn't shake the feeling that something had shifted between them. Their unexpected encounter had brought them closer in ways she hadn't anticipated, and now, she found herself wondering what the future held for them.
Turning on the faucet, Hanni splashed her face with cool water, hoping to clear her mind of the lingering doubts and uncertainties. But as she stared at her reflection in the mirror, she couldn't help but feel a sense of apprehension creeping in.
Was she ready to confront the feelings that had been stirred up by their passionate night together? And what did it mean for their budding relationship, if it could even be called that?
Lost in her thoughts, Hanni barely noticed the sound of footsteps approaching from behind. She turned to find Minji standing in the doorway, her hair tousled and eyes still heavy with sleep.
"Hey," Minji said softly, a small smile playing on her lips. "Mind if I join you?"
Hanni's heart skipped a beat at the sight of Minji's warm gaze, and she couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement at the prospect of spending more time together.
"Of course not," Hanni said, returning Minji's smile. "The more the merrier."
As Minji stepped into the bathroom, Hanni couldn't shake the feeling that their journey was only just beginning. With a newfound sense of determination, she resolved to embrace whatever lay ahead, knowing that as long as they were together, they could face anything that came their way.
Hanni's phone rang, interrupting her thoughts. She hummed a tune as she left the bathroom, her fingers deftly unlocking the device to answer the call. "Hello?" she greeted.
"Hey, were you planning on coming in today? We need to talk," Micheal's voice came through the line.
Hanni grinned mischievously. "Sure, maybe I'll even bring in a surprise," she teased.
"Oh, you bitch, you know I love surprises. What is it?" Micheal's curiosity piqued.
Hanni chuckled softly. "You guys won't believe what it is. I'll be there in 10," she replied before ending the call. She glanced over to see Minji leaning against the doorway, observing her.
"Who was that?" Minji inquired.
"Micheal. We're heading over there to...talk," Hanni answered, her mind already racing with plans.
Minji nodded casually. "Whatever you say," she said before disappearing back into the bathroom.
Hanni couldn't shake the lingering echo of Minji's words—"whatever you say." But she brushed it off, deciding not to dwell on it as she prepared to face whatever awaited them at the meeting.
Hanni quickly got dressed, her mind buzzing with anticipation for the meeting. As she gathered her things, Minji emerged from the bathroom, looking refreshed and composed.
