Anu was walking when she saw Jodha angry. She went near her.
"Heer, what happened? Why are you looking so angry? Did you fight with Shahenshah?" Anu asked.
"No. I did not fight with Shahenshah." Jodha replied still angry.
"Then?" Anu asked.
Jodha explained what she saw. Anu was listening to her. Her face didn't show any expression. Jodha finished explaining.
"Leave it." Anu said.
"What? How could you say something like that Anu? You want me to forgive Adham's for his act!" Jodha said angrily.
"Who said anything about forgiving? I just told you to leave the matter. Even if we tell this to anyone, no one will listen to it. Even if you tell Shahenshah about it, he might shout at him and later may forgive him. Adham is his foster brother after all." Anu said.
"So, you are saying I have just to ignore. No. I can't do that." Jodha said.
"Ignore for now. I am sure he will do something bigger than this. That time we will make sure he will get punished." Anu said.
"But..." Jodha said.
"Heer Jiji, I know what you feel. But trust me. Even if we do something now, Maham Anga will do something that will make us look like culprit." Anu said.
"You are right." Jodha said feeling dejected.
Time skip
Just like Anu said, Adham did do something big. He used to harass Tasneem. She always scared to be near Adham. One day, Adham asked Tasneem's hand for marriage to her parents who agreed as he promised to give the position of guard to her father and so much money. Jodha told about Adham's act to Jalal who looked into the matter.
Jalal asked Tasneem and her family to come to the court. He asked her if she agrees to marry Adham which she agrees. Jodha was shocked at Tasneem's answer. Jalal asked Tasneem what she knows about marriage.
"Shahenshah, when the religious head asks then I have to say "Qabool Hai" 3 times." Tasneem replied.
"Anything else?" Jalal asked her softly.
"I will get to wear new clothes and eat good food." she replied.
"Tasneem. What you said is about how marriage is done and celebrated. Do you know what happens after you marry?" Jodha asked.
"After marriage a wife will be able to live in big palace and wear great clothes." Tasneem replied.
Jalal smiled at her innocence.
"Is that what you think marriage is about?" Jalal asked.
"Yes." Tasneem said.
"Fine. You may leave now." Jalal said. Tasneem and her family bowed and left.
"Shahenshah, I hope you make your decision carefully." Jodha said.
"I will tell my decision after 2 days. The discussion ends here." Jalal said and left.
In evening
Jalal was thinking about Tasneem's answer. He was feeling confused in what to do. Anu came inside.
"Pranaam Mohu." Anu said.
"Greetings Anu Begum. You here?" he asked.
"I see you are restless. Thinking about Tasneem's situation, aren't you?" Anu asked.
