Bai Sijin woke up, his eyelashes fluttered like a crow’s wings, and he made a soothing sound before naturally rubbing her fluffy head.
“You must be tired, sleep a little longer.”
Xu Xucao was very confused. Upon hearing this, she recalled the scene of how she had been struggling on him yesterday.
Her scalp was numb, and she pushed Bai Sijin away with force, and with a “pop,” the foreign object in her body came out like a cork being pulled out of a bottle.
The milky white substance had soaked inside her all night, and it rushed out of her body, wetting her thighs.
A sense of shame swept over her, and she felt hot all over, as if she were about to evaporate.
She must be crazy! Yesterday, Bai Sijin had warned her, but she felt like a person without desire, drank a jar of wine in extreme arrogance, and did something extremely shameful, as if possessed by a demon.
She even forced a virgin doctor to have sex with her…
Xu Xucao was a cultivator after all, experiencing more things than ordinary women and being more rational.
After a while, she forced herself to stand up calmly, picked up her clothes one by one and put them on, always facing away from Bai Sijin.
Behind her, his concerned voice came, “Is your body still sore?”
Xu Xucao stiffened and didn’t say a word.
He said slowly, “It’s my fault. I hurt you last night.”
Upon hearing this, she felt even more guilty. It was she who had forced him first, but it made him feel sorry for her.
He had been very gentle last night.
She tidied her clothes neatly, opened the door, and dared not look back at him. She spoke in a dry voice, “I’m sorry, I have to go.”
With that, she blinked and flew away on her sword.
Bai Sijin looked out the window, watching a sword light pass by and disappear without a trace.
He let out a sigh and then smiled silently, his lips curling up.

In the city of Lin’an, the sun is setting and the room is filled with purple and red light. Xu Xuancao sits on the second floor of a tea house, sipping tea and listening absentmindedly to a storyteller. Her legs are still sore from being rubbed all night, and she can barely wield a sword to travel any further. She can still smell the man’s breath on her body, which is pleasant and reminds her of the warmth of his company. Will he be angry with her for leaving suddenly?
Suddenly, a tall figure rushes towards her and calls out, “Miss Xu, there you are!” It is a man in a dark brown robe, elegant and handsome like a scholar in a bamboo forest. Xu Xuancao asks, “Who are you?” The man replies, “Don’t you remember me? I’m Lin Xuanshu. It’s normal that you didn’t know who I was since you couldn’t see that day.” He smiles, “Luckily, your eyes are better now.”
Xu Xuancao is uninterested and says, “So it’s Mr. Lin.”
Lin Xuanshu observes her and asks, “Have you been staying with Bai Sijin recently?”
Upon hearing the name, Xu Xuancao’s heart sinks and she nods slowly, “I’m not staying there anymore.”
Lin Xuanshu laughs and says, “That’s good. After all, it’s not good for an unmarried girl to live with a man. What if someone takes advantage of you?” He continues, “Girls can’t defend themselves against men.”
Xu Xuancao feels worse as she listens. She crushes the teacup in her hand, causing Lin Xuanshu to stop talking.
Xu Xuancao quickly cleans up the broken pieces and clears her throat, “How’s the case going?”
Lin Xuanshu realizes she’s talking about the case they’re both working on, “Oh, you mean the family massacre case. Well, we found some clues.”
Xu Xuancao asks, “Did you solve the case?”
Lin Xuanshu awkwardly wipes his sweat, “No…”
Xu Xuancao frowns deeper, “It’s been eight days since the last massacre. If the murderer strikes again, it’ll be in two days.”
Lin Xuanshu smiles confidently, “We still have two days. I believe we’ll have a chance.”
Xu Xuancao suggests, “Let’s work together to solve the case. Maybe we’ll have a breakthrough.”
Lin Xuanshu agrees but emphasizes that her safety is the top priority. He suggests she stay with him for a few days to facilitate the investigation.
Xu Xuancao asks, “Do you have a wife?”
Lin Xuanshu was suddenly asked and showed a shy smile, “Not yet married.”
Xu Xuancao narrowed her eyes and looked at his honest expression, remembering that he had just said that it was inappropriate for single men and women to live together, but he had invited her to live with him.
Ha ha, he is really hypocritical!
