Your skin is lovely shades of dazzling blue
The clouds dot the features of your face
From your bushy eyebrows to the sharpness of your jaw
Your hair the delicate rain that cascades down to me
I caught it in my hands hoping to take you with me
But you slipped through my fingers before I could count to threeAlluring sky
Spiced with sugar and salt
They light you in the night
Beautiful sky
Decorated with art
Come find me before lightWith the sun it is hard to gaze at your lovely shades
But with the moon I find it is best to see your graceful face
So at the moment when the sun tires and goes away for the night
Come down and promise to stay with me until first light
