Chapter 27

One month later _

" Love ... How are you ? Are you doing well ? Jungkook asked, sitting beside Y/n . He was holding her hand . There was no one there because it's already night time . And usually no one comes there at night . Taehyung went back home a few hours ago and it's Jungkook's time to stay with her . After some time Jungkook said , " Are you sleeping well , my love? It's ok . You can take some rest . But you know it has been over one month that you're here . It has been more than a month since I heard your voice . "

Jungkook softly stroked her hand and patted her head . There wasn't any bandage on her head . They took it off a long time ago. They shifted Y/n in a VIP cabin . Taking special care of her .

And about her condition, it's still the same . She is in a coma . There weren't any improvements on health . She's still using an intuition tube for breathing. She never showed any movement. She never opened her eyes after that day . The doctors said her condition wasn't improving. They lose their hopes from her but Taehyung, his family and Jungkook never did . They were hoping someday she would wake up . She will wake up and call them .

This past month, Jungkook was always with her . He always stayed beside her at the hospital. There were barely any days when he went back home . Others keep on visiting her too .

And just like other nights , today too Jungkook is with her . Sitting on his chair with her hands on him . He changed his hospital attire into his casual t-shirts and pants. He always keeps casual clothes with him because he stays here at the hospital all the time . It has become his habit of telling Y/n everything happened with him all day long . What he did , how many surgeries he did , what happened to the patent and many more. He dragged his chair near her and kept his head beside her on the bed . He has been sleeping here with her everyday.

And at night when it gets time for Y/n's checkup, Yoongi or Jimin themselves come into her room to check on her instead of the nurses and other doctors because they know Jungkook is with her .

Jungkook fell asleep after some time . The door of the room opened and Jimin came inside her room . He went near them . He sighs deeply because he and Yoongi got tired of telling Jungkook to go home and rest . But he never listens.

He walks near Y/n and starts doing her checkups . He takes her temperature and all other things . He noted them on her file and walked out again after fixing her blanket over her . He took a spare blanket and covered Jungkook with it .

He was walking toward the doctor's counter and he saw Yoongi . Yoongi asked him first , " You checked Y/n ? "

" Yes . I'm just coming from there ." Jimin said .

" How is her condition? Any movements ? "

" Nothing... " Jimin replied, showing Yoongi her file . Yoongi read it carefully before saying,

" I don't know if we should keep any hopes up ... " His voice is low and flat .

" There's nothing in her . Instead her brain is sometimes unresponsive. Should we tell Taehyung and Jungkook? " Jimin asked . Concerned.

Yoongi looked up at him and said , " First , let's discuss it with the senior doctors who are appointed to check her . Let's see what they say. "

Next day , Morning _

Jungkook was woken up by his alarm ringing . He grabbed his phone from the bedside table, turned the alarm off , and looked up at Y/n's peaceful sleeping figure . A smile formed on his lips as he said , " Good morning, beautiful... " His hands made their way to her head to pat her but as soon as he touched her , he felt the burning sensation of her body . She was burning.
