☆Karl POV: ☆
We were in last period, the day had gone pretty well besides sap being late to third period, but he said he had just gotten classes jumbled up and thought it was 4th period for some reason.
And at lunch, he just put his head down and said he was too tired to do anything..? I don't think he actually slept, though.
The bell rings, and I grab my bag, heading into the hall and into my regular direction of the door I take to walk.
"Wait -" Of course, sapnap .Come on, I'm giving you a ride."
"I seriously can walk sapnap-"
"You act like it's a big deal. We live on the same street."
"Oh, I act like it's a big deal? Okay, hypocrite." I smile, joking.
"Just get in karl, come on."
"Fine."
I get in his car.
We sit in silence. It's nice, though.
As we pull up to our street, I see my house. I don't want to go home. She'll get mad at me again.
"You okay?"
"Oh- um yeah, actually - we should go to your house, you know, for the homework in math."
"Didnt you say, and I quote, 'im not doing her fucking homework, she doesn't count it anyways.'?"
"Uh, nope."
"Mhm, sure." He says, yet he still pulls up to his house, and we still both go in.
"Do you want a water or something?" He asks.
I don't want a drink right now, and I know there's basically nothing else in this house right now, so I shake my head with a 'thanks though'
It's awkward as fuck, we both know we won't do homework. I only came here so I don't get beat the fuck out of.
"Uh, what do you wanna do?" He asks
"Well, you're the host." I say.
"You're the guest."
"But you're the host."
"And you're the guest."
We just look at each other for a second before bursting out laughing.
"Okay but actually- what should we do?" I say
"I dunno- a movie? Video games?"
"A movie sounds good."
Once we get situated on his couch, he hands me the remote.
"I have netflix, Hulu, and Disney plus, knock yourself out."
I click on netflix first, clicking on the account named Nick.
First I glance at his recently watched, just to see his taste in movies, so I can pick something he likes.
Oh?
Thirteen, the florida project, perks of being a wallflower, and more.
(Idek if these are all on Netflix I js pirate stuff lmao but their some of my top sad movies)
He hasn't finished Thirteen yet, I don't know if he was rewatching it or just didn't ever finish it.
"Did you ever finish thirteen?"
"Oh, uh yeah. I was rewatching it, it's a good movie."
"Mhm, it's one of my favorite sad movies, I like how the lighting sets different, like, stages of Tracy's downfall." I add
