Minho POV
As we climbed the mountain and settled on the rocks, I found myself drawn to her, the girl with the red curls. As we sat in silence, I couldn't help but steal glances in her direction. Fry nudged my shoulder playfully, teasing me about falling in love. I scoffed, denying it, but Newt chuckled, calling me out on my obvious attraction. "I just find her attractive," I retorted, trying to brush it off. "I look at attractive things, you shanks." They laughed, but my gaze remained fixed on her.

As the group sat in silence i found myself lost in thought.
"Minho, you've been awfully quiet," Newt remarked, breaking the silence.
"Yeah, everything okay?" Fry added, concern evident in his voice.
I hesitated for a moment, unsure of how to articulate what i was feeling. I took a deep breath and spoke.
"I... I need to tell you guys something,", my voice low.
Newt and fry looked at me expectantly, waiting for me to continue.

"When we were borrowing that car from the drug shank, Hope had a panic attack," I confessed, my gaze drifting towards the ground. "And... I kissed her."

There was a moment of stunned silence as they processed my words.
Newt was the first to respond. "Bloody hell, Minho," he said, his tone a mix of surprise and amusement. "You kissed her during a panic attack?"
I nodded, feeling a mix of embarrassment and relief at having finally shared my secret. "I don't know what came over me," i admitted. "But... yeah, I did."
Fry clapped him on the back with a grin. "Well, mate, looks like you've got some explaining to do."

As they laughed and joked, I couldn't help but feel grateful for their understanding and support. It was a weight off my shoulders to finally share my feelings with my friends, and i knew how lucky i was to have them by my side.

As Thomas made his way up, the laughter began to fade, and a somber mood settled over the group. Newt looked at him, sighing. "I wish Alby could've seen all of this," he said, voicing what they were all feeling. I nodded in agreement, my gaze drifting to the ground.

Fry chimed in, "And Winston. "And Chuck." Thomas chuckled softly at their banter. "He'd be proud of you, y'know, Tommy," Newt said, offering some comfort.

Thomas looked at the carved figure nearby, lost in thought. "Hey, Ari's!" Fry called out, breaking the solemn moment. Ari's waved to us from a distance, Hope looked up at us, her smile brightening the mood.

"I kinda like that kid," Fry remarked, earning nods of agreement from the rest of us. "Yeah, still don't trust 'em though," I joked, lightening the mood with a playful jab. We shared a smile, finding solace in each other's company.

"Hey, where's Teresa?" Thomas asked, noticing her absence. "Uh, she went up there," Newt replied, pointing towards the cliff. Thomas nodded slowly, getting up and walking down the rocks that led him up to us.

The tension in the air was thick as Fry voiced his doubts, his words echoing the uncertainties that lingered in all of our minds. "Sometimes I wonder if it's all worth it," he mused, his voice heavy with contemplation. "I mean, we have to make it worth it now. We've lost too many of us for all of this to go to waste."

I nodded in agreement, feeling the weight of our losses pressing down on me. "After all the shit we've been through, I'm glad it was with you guys," I admitted, a genuine sentiment born from the depths of my soul.

Newt's eyebrows shot up in amusement at my unexpected display of emotion. "What?" he teased, a smirk playing at the corners of his lips.

I chuckled, realizing how sentimental I must have sounded. "Hold up, that didn't sound right," I backtracked, trying to salvage my dignity.
...

As we descended towards the campfire, the crackling flames casting flickering shadows on the rocky terrain, I found myself drawn towards the fiery-haired girl. Startled by my approach, she turned to face me, her eyes softening with recognition. Her smile, a beacon of warmth in the midst of chaos, made my heart race.

Before I could utter a word, a deafening explosion shattered the tranquility of the night, sending us tumbling to the ground. As I scrambled to my feet, helping her up, the urgency of the situation became clear. Racing towards Vince, who thrust a gun into my hands, I knew what needed to be done.

Firing at every guard in sight, my focus was singular: protect those I cared about at all costs. And then, amidst the chaos, I saw her. Hope, fighting off a guard with a ferocity that took me by surprise. In that moment, she was more than just the sweet girl I knew; she was a force to be reckoned with.

As adrenaline surged through my veins, I couldn't help but admire her strength and resilience. "Like goddamn, she looks hot," I thought, a smirk tugging at the corners of my lips amidst the chaos of battle.
