"Gabrielle, Luke!"
Lucinda walked over to the both of them with quick feet as her eyes were searching after her brother.
"Lucy?... What is it!?"
Luke and Gabrielle had placed themselves on a bench, waiting for Derius to come back after he had been talking to the Headmistress.
Luke got up right away and got down on his knees to be at Lucinda's height.
"Is it the scars? Does anything hurt."
His eyes were telling her that he was worried and was looking all over her face for signs, but she couldn't miss that Gabrielle looked over at the same door she had come out from, as she was panting and hugged herself with her small hands and held a steady grip on her robe so did she look at him and knew he was looking for anything that was the reason for her to come running, but couldn't see anyone coming after her or anything else.
"No, it's just hard to breathe."
Luke understood by then that it must be some kind of shock and panic, which happened to Lucinda sometimes when there were too many people around, so he placed a calming hand on her shoulder and looked at her with a soft smile.
"Okay, listen to me. Breathe in and out slowly. Just follow me."
He began to hale and exhale slowly to show her how and that she could imitate him and just like any potion so did it worked wonders and with Luke's smile, he told her that she didn't need to worry because he doesn't and made her smile back.
A short moment after the three of them had been talking about what happened in the Great Hall, she finally calmed down but she still wanted to ask.
"I'm sorry...But please, can I come back with you all?"
her voice was soft as a bit scared to ask.
"Why? We know that Hogwarts will be perfect for you."
Gabrielle answered her right away as he leaned forward so he could see her right in the eyes, which was the way he had always done with her, and she knew now that he wasn't pleased with any answer and he was not joking around now, as he usually does.
"I just...I know you three can teach me everything I need to know and more."
She locked eyes with Gabrielle, with the respect of taking him seriously, and that something made Gabrielle respect her back a bit more and was pleased.
But there was this mini little thing about her, something he noticed and had a hard time resisting, it was almost like she was begging him with her eyes to make him say yes, which hurt for him to say no to even more, but as he told her that they know that Hogwarts would be perfect for her, especially now when her father is after her.
So he tried to cheer her up with a smile as he looked at her robe and pointed at it with the wand that he had been holding since she came out of the door.
"Hey, looks like you got more from me than I knew! The first Slytherin from the Khain family, not bad hu?"
His teasing smile shows then up as he remembers Derius was hoping for her to be a Ravenclaw.
"I'm not surprised Gabrielle, you two are the most ambitious people I know."
Luke's smile showed how proud he was as he looked at her robe. He was hoping for Lucinda to go her own way and not as the rest of the Khain family, his eyes then turned up when he noticed that Derius was now back and walked his way over to them, which Lucinda noticed too when both of them turned their eyes over her head and on her brother.
"Derius!" She turned and walked over to her brother and met him in between their friends and the door.
"Lucy what are you doing here, shouldn't you be with the rest of the students?" he hugged her as he looked confused at Luke and Gabrielle.
"She wants to come back with us," Gabrielle said as he shrugged.
"What?!" Derius was now even more confused and looked down at his sister.
