A large pillar of green light becomes visible in the horizon from Hawaii. They all turn to it. "Sonic,Stormi, what is that?" Tom asked. "A big problem. The compass led Robotnik to the Emerald." Sonic explained. "We need to stop him, now!" Stormi explained. "That's got to be hundreds of miles away." Maddie says.

"All right. Huddle up. Let's figure out a plan. Together." Tom said. Sonic starts to walk away. "There's no time for that. Me and Stormi are the only ones that can get there fast enough." Stormi nods. "It's best that we go now."

"Sonic, Stormi, this is way too big for you both to do by yourselves." Maddie says. Sonic stops and points at the unconscious Tails. "You see that little fox over there? He came all the way across the universe to meet his hero. And what did his hero do? I practically got him killed. You know what? You were right. My moment came and I blew it. I'm no hero." Sonic says.

"Wait..." Tom says, but Sonic stops him.
"No. I'm not letting anyone else get hurt because of me. I'm gonna fix this while I still can." He says before dashing to the beach.
"Sonic!" Tom yelled. "Don't worry, We'll be fine, Tom!" Stormi says before following her brother. Tom sighs as he watch her leave. Tails gasps as he wakes up. "Sonic! Stormi, wait!" He tries to fly and catch up with the hedgehogs but falls.Both Tom and Maddie ran up to him.

"Hold on. Hold on. Wait, wait, wait. Don't move. Don't move." Maddie spoke in a worried tone.

"Take it easy, little guy. You're hurt." Tom adds.

"But we have to help him. You don't know what he's up against." Tails says. They all looked at the green beam far away from them.

At the beach, Sonic walked to the ocean and looked down. "Ugh. Water. Why did it have to be water?" Stormi walked up to him. "Sonic!" He turned to her. "Hey Storms.." He spoke. "This is it..Are you ready?" Stormi nods."Yeah.." They both took a deep breath and exhaled. They got into a track start position. "Gotta go fast.." The siblings said in unison. They both activate their chaos energy and took another deep breath before speeding through the water. As they sped on top of the water, waves start to form, causing them trouble to keep their balance above the water. They both saw a giant wave and gasps. They both ran up the wave, struggling to get up. "Come on...we can do this!!" Stormi yelled. They push through and flew over more waves. They both try to continue running but the waves keep hitting them in the face before everything went dark.

Stormi wakes up, washed up on a beach. "Ugh..my head.." She turned to see Sonic knocked out cold. She crawled up next to him. "Sonic wake up!!" She shook him. He groans and coughs up water. He slowly gets up. "Where are we?" He muttered. Stormi looked up and saw the green light was a lot closer than before. "We're here...We're at the temple..." Sonic looked up at the green light. They pushed past a few bushes before looking ahead that the temple in front of them. "There it is.." Sonic says in awe. "Come on! We gotta hurry!" Stormi exclaimed. They both rushed into the temple. They both see a waterslide type path that goes inside the temple. "A waterslide?! Awesome!!" Stormi jumps on it and slides down. "Stormi! Wait up! Ugh, more water..?" Sonic groans before following his sister. Towards the end of the slide, Stormi lands on her feet with a excited look on her face. She then hears Sonic screaming and moved from the end of the slide so he could land, but ends up landing on his body. "Ugh...my pelvis.." Stormi winces. "Are you okay?" Sonic gets up and shook his head. "Yeah, I'm fine.." He looks around. "Okay, secret temple. Let's see what you got." He said. "Yeah, can't be THAT hard!" Stormi adds.

They both ran through the temple at high speeds towards the center, running past the traps and through them. Meanwhile with Knuckles and Eggman. Knuckles punched down a wall as he and Dr. Eggman reached the center of the temple. "You have arrived at your destination." Eggman's control glove informed. "Wow. That really opened up the space. I can't even picture it with an impenetrable wall now. And the rubble is always a nice touch." Eggman said. They see the master emerald in front of them, floating on a pedestal.
