A few days later, We see everyone playing baseball. Sonic is seen as the announcer, Tails is the pitcher, Knuckles is the batter, Stormi as the plate catcher, and Tom and Maddie are the field catchers.
"It's truly a beautiful day for baseball here in Green Hills. An exciting lineup today with the debut appearance of two new players!" Sonic announced.
"On the mound, rookie sensation from across the galaxy: Miles "Tails" Prower!" Tails waves nervously.
"Facing off against the powerhouse: Knuckles the Echidna."
"Um, I don't understand. Why am I angry at the enemy ball?" Knuckles asked as he looked at the bat with confusion.
"You're not angry. You just want to hit it as hard as you can and then run around the bases." Sonic explained.
"But if my quest ends where I am standing, why run at all?" Knuckles asked.
"I can't with this guy. Why do I even try?" Sonic facepalmed.
"This is just a game. We're out here having fun." Maddie says.
"Just having some fun." Tom adds.
"Fun. Huh." Knuckles says.
Stormi punches her mit, wearing baseball gear.
"All right! Give him the heat, Tails!" She shouts.
"Hope you're ready for my fastball." Tails smirked.
"Your fastball will be dishonored, and so will you, fox." Knuckles growls while in a position with the baseball bat ready to swing.
"Easy, guys!" Maddie says, trying to calm everyone down.
"Hey, don't think about it too much. Just keep your elbow up, eye on the ball and give it a ride." Tom says.
"A ride, to where?" Knuckles asked.
Tails proceeds to wind up his arm, toss the ball into the air and grab it with his twin-tails. He then proceeds to use his twin-tails to toss the ball right at Knuckles. Knuckles eyes the ball, as it got closer to him.
"Power bump!"
Knuckles uses his fist and punches the ball straight over Tails' head and through the score board.
"Woah!!" Stormi exclaims.
"Ha! Victory is mine!" Knuckles cheered.
"Hey, no fair! That shouldn't count." Tails pouts.
"That was a pretty good throw, Tails!" Stormi held her fist up for a fist bump. Tails chuckled and gives her a fist bump.
"Heh thanks." Tails says.
"First base is also mine!" Knuckles cheers, as Tom and Maddie turned to the hole on the score board.
"I think that was our only ball." Tom says. Stormi runs up to him. "I'll go get it!" She runs off, into the forest.
"I have conquered the second of the bases!" Knuckles can be heard.
As Stormi looks around in the forest, she finally sees the baseball near a tree. As she went to pick it up, she finds a bracelet in the dirt. She picks it up and cleans it off.

"Wow, so pretty.."
She puts it on and her eyes glow, feeling an unknown energy from the bracelet.
"Stormi! Come on! We're getting ice cream!" Sonic called out, waking her from her thoughts.
"Coming!" She shouted. She grabbed the baseball and zipped back to the others.
"Good job, guys." Maddie says,Ozzy walks up to her.
"You too, baby. Let's go get some ice cream. Come on, come on." She guides the dog to the truck. Sonic and Stormi watched with smiles.
"I'm happy for you guys. Got your wingmen. Perfect friends to grow up with." Tom says as they watched the others get in the truck.
"Come on, Knuckles." Tails says.
"Ah. My victory chariot!" Knuckles says before leaping into the back of the truck, making it shake.
"We've got a lot more than that..." Sonic says.
"Dad." He and Stormi said in unison, making Tom smile, hearing the siblings accepting him as their father.
"Race you to the truck. 1, 2, 3, go! No, don't go easy on me! I want your best!" Tom shouts.
The hedgehogs zooms past Tom and makes a cool poses on the truck before sliding in with Tails and Knuckles. Tom and Maddie enter the driver seat.
"Hey Storms, where'd you get that bracelet from?" Sonic asked.
"Oh, I found it! Like it?" She says showing it off.
"Not bad." Sonic says giving her a thumbs up.
"Sonic, Stormi, I have just been told they have sprinkles." Knuckles said, tapping the top of the truck excitedly.
"Ice cream and sprinkles? This is your new destiny." Sonic says.
"Heck yeah! Sprinkles are the best!" Stormi adds.
Tom starts the engine as they proceed to drive off.
"What a perfect meal to celebrate my victory over you in base of ball." Knuckles said proudly.
"What?" Tails says in disbelief.
"I mean, you barely beat me." Sonic said in confidence.
"Ha! You've never been beaten so hard." Knuckles says.
"Don't you dare get cocky now, Knucks.." Stormi jokes.
As they leave they left the blue ice chest cooler with the Master Emerald lying within. Sonic speeds back over to the cooler.
"Can't forget this." He says before grabbing the cooler and leaving.

At the wreckage, the Giant Eggman robot made. "Agent, I want an update." Walters says.
"Still searching, sir. We haven't found any sign of Robotnik." The Agent says.
"No one could've survived that crash. He's toast. Good riddance." Walters says.
A masked GUN soldier walks behind the pair, pulling his mask down to reveal himself to be Agent Stone who is overhearing their convestion.
"What a mess that lunatic made."
"Sir, there's something else. When we were wiping Robotnik off our database, we found something: A file buried deep in our system and dating back over 50 years." The Agent informs.
"What was it?" Walters asked.
"Coordinates, sir." The agents said.
"Coordinates? To what?" Walters asked.
Underneath a Black site a pod rising up, revealing a black and red hedgehog inside
"A secret research facility. It was a black site, sir. Someone worked very hard to keep this hidden." The agent says.
"My God... Project Shadow." Walters said with dread.
"That's not all..there's another project..a dangerous one.." The agent says. Another pod rises to reveal a dark blue hedgehog, with red striped quills, wearing golden rings on his wrists and wearing a red scarf.
"Someone also tried to hide this project... Project Name:..Z also known as Project Zane." The agent says.
Shadow and Zane awakened, with their eyes flaring up bright vermilion chaos energy....
