the brotherhood is like, an alliance of multiple royal families :)

also i dont know how mk,redson and mei work cuz, im sure redson was not born out of wedlock but i really dont know what to do out of this? cuz i also thought that maybe he was, but then remmebering how noble they are i think they wouln't ???

ALSO this is if dbk married pif and it kinda still mattered to the brotherhood(which i dont know if it did but,lets pretend it didn't in canon)

Wukong and mk were being escorted to a wedding they had been invited to. And Wukong was kind of anxious about going,he was actually an old friend of the groom, bull king was getting married. All of his brothers were going, or so he hoped,they hadn't been in touch ever since their falling out.

he walked in, followed by mk and the car took off, there was no escape now. "mk,wukong, fancy meeting you here" soon after entering the both were greeted by mei and her escort, they both wore jade accesories and jewelry "same" said mk next to wukong, they all shook eachother's hands and continued walking in together.Wukong couln't help but feel nervous, he didnt know exactly what to tell them or say to them.

as they walked in the beautiful venue, they were greeted by a sight of many guests,somehow the venue seemed bigger on the inside than what they could see from outside. "wukong,mk, its good to see you here" mk and wukong turned to see a familiar face "azure,same could be said to you" wukong and azure shook hands as peng walked up from behind azure "wukong, wasn't exppecting you to make it" peng had no bite to his tone, however, he did have a smug look on his face "did macaque come with you?" azure spoke as mk looked around "not really, he did say he was going to come though..." wukong answered as mk ran towards mei and redson, who were hanging out near the food and drinks "well its good to know he's coming, peng has an apology prepared for him" wukong  raised  a brow "really? shocking to know you actually feel remorseful" peng rolled his eyes "Yes, well, I thought maybe he does deserve some sort of apology after my... unfair treatment towards him." wukong and azure shared a chuckle, a lot did change after the last time they met.

"where's the groom anyways? he must be nervous" wukong asked as he looked around the room, dbk being nowhere to be seen. "true, he might act all tough and mean but hes sure to be nervous right now" peng adds with a smirk.

"Hey, Monkey King, I think Macaque is here!" MK yelled from across the room. Some guests were giggling, knowing about Wukong's relationship with Macaque. Wukong got a bit red from the attention he was unnintentionally getting, but sure enough he walked to the door to greet macaqeu, hopefully he wasn't accompanied by any of his escorts this time, he ussually tries to stay away whenever they are around, wukong doesn't exactly know why but he does know he doesnt like it.

As he walked out he saw macaque walkimg out of a black car, he wore some really fancy silver jewelry, one of the pieces catching wukong's eye.Wukong hopped on over to where macaque was,macaque looked unnamused by him, still he smiled and greeted him as he normally would "nice to see you here wukong, i can see you got here before me" macaque said adding a fake tone of dissapointment "next time then" he said as he walked past wukong with a smirk. Wukong followed close behind "you cant beat me in a race, so dont even try sweetie" they both laughed at wukongs teasing, everything seemed so good.Wukong wished it would stay that way forever.

but of course, things dont last forever.

Everyone was seated and the ceremony began, guests couldn't hold back tears of joy as the newly weds read their vows, then, the dinner began. A few minutes later, everyone started getting up for the dance, the band preparing for the main song, the guests each went to pairs which left wukong standing alone, he looked around expecting to spot macaque somewhere alone, but he couldn't find him anywhere.
