We're Both Losers Baby

{Chapter five}

TWS FOR THIS CHAPTER: WAY OOC, underage drinking, underage drug use, there will be other ships portrayed (I don't ship all of them)

As Jake and I were walking to the mall Henry and Liam run up to us "Hey Drew!" Liam exclaimed, "Have you figured out where you're staying yet?"
As I was about to answer no Jake's phone started to go off like crazy, "Sorry guys, it's the club," he stated "they're having a huge sleepover at Zander and Hailey's place to celebrate the creation of the club." He looked at me "I could ask if you can come!"
"I don't wanna intrude -" I started.
"I'll ask." he starts typing and not even thirty seconds later he says "they said Drew can come as my plus one, I'm sorry guys." he looks at Henry and Liam.
"Oh it's no biggie" Henry says "we had a sleepover of our own planned."

~On The Way To The Sleepover~
"What if they're still mad at me?" I look slightly up at Jake my eyebrows knit together.
"They're not MAD, probably just a little upset, it'll get better over time." Jake promises me.
"You don't know that!" I snap at him "sorry. I'm trying to be better but it's just way easier to be mean." I sighed," You weren't as bad as I was. There's a different level of forgiveness that they'd have to have for me."
"Drew," Jake looked at me sympathetically "they'll forgive you, forgiveness just takes time."
I sighed and looked at him in disbelief
"Besides" Jake continues "we're doing karaoke." He seemed to shine.
"I guess," I continue "but only because it's easy." He laughs at me and we walk the rest of the way in silence.

~At Zander and Hailey's house~
This is really awkward "So, does anyone have any activities they want to do?" Jake asks in an attempt to break the silence.
"Well as long as Drew is here we can't really practice." Luke pointedly looks at me "We could just do normal sleepover things." 
"What exactly do people do at 'normal' sleepovers Luke?" Hailey  sarcastically raises an eyebrow.
I reach for my phone, might as well just listen to music while the club discuss what to do. After one song I feel people staring at me. Jake taps my shoulder. "Hey, Drew." He starts "We can't decide what to do, we need a tie breaker, half the group wants to go to the arcade in the mall, the other half wants to play party games here." He looks at me with a smile on his face.
"Well I guess party games, here?" Milly, Luke, and Jake smile disappointingly.
"The only right option." Zander smiles smugly.

"oh yeah Zander," Milly starts "what game do you have in mind?" She smirks as if she had just said the smartest thing ever.
"Glad you asked." He smiles in a sinister manner "Sip or Spill." 
Everyone looked shocked except me, I don't really know him though so nothing he did could really shock me. "Zander," Jake starts "are you sure? I don't know if it's a good idea for us to be drinking?" everyone else seems to agree with Jake, even Zander.
"It'll be fine." Zander looked worried "It's less than 1% alcohol. So we won't even get tipsy."

Eventually everyone agreed. "So, what's the first question Zander? Since this was your idea."
"Um," he struggled to think of his question "Drew, who do you like?" He probably asked that because of Zoey. I take a shot. 
Everyone looks at me shocked "It's not Zoey?" I hear someone ask.
"Isn't the point of the shot that I don't have to answer the question?" everyone suddenly goes quiet. "Um Milly I guess, at around the beginning of the year Zoey was bragging about something she took from you, what was that?"
All falls quiet for a moment as we all await Milly's response "A page from my diary." 

We played sip or spill for about 2 hours and everyone but Jake was starting to get tipsy, he's very open and honest it's one of the many things I like about him. "Thanks Drew." I hear Jake whisper in my ear.
I lean really close to him, close enough that if anyone even slightly bumped me toward him we could kiss "Did I say that out loud?" I whisper shout at him.
He chuckles "Yeah but I think I'm the only one who heard you." we look around at everyone else who are all caught up in side conversations.
"May I have everyone's attention?" Milly says just loud enough for everyone to stop talking. "I was thinking," 
Zander interrupts "That's impressive!" at which everyone laughs.
Ignoring him she continues, "Why don't we play spin the bottle?" at her attempt to bring us back to party games we all whisper among ourselves and agree on an additional rule, if Hailey or Zander where to land on each other they could spin again. 

[Author here, I'm using a wheel picker for this so it really is a surprise for me too]

"So, who's going to start?" Hailey asks everyone.
"I guess I could." I volunteer without thought. I pick up the empty bottle and spin. I close my eyes and once it stops I open my eyes to look at who it landed on. 
"No big deal, it's not like we have to make out." Milly shrugs it off as she comes over to me and pecks me on the lips. "Alright my turn!" she spins the bottle.
"Pucker up princess." Jake laughs as the bottle landed on Hailey. The two meet in the middle they kiss and the bottle is in Hailey's hands. 
Hailey spins and lands on me, "C'mere Drew, or are you gonna make me work for it." She teases it's clearly the alcohol, but I almost feel like part of the group. I crawl over to her and peck her lips, as I pull away she hands me the bottle. 

After I go and grab snacks for Zander I spin the bottle again, and it lands on Luke. I look at Zander, he seems irritated but he knows this is just a game, I move toward Luke and we kiss as I hand him the bottle. 
He spins and it lands on Zander, Zander slowly crawls toward him, as though he were teasing his boyfriend. Once he gets close Zander sit's in his boyfriend's lap and they start to make out, we soon realized we would have to peel Zander off Luke if we wanted to continue our game.
Zander spins and lands on Hailey, as he spins again it lands on Sean.
One thing we all learned tonight is that when he's drunk Zander is an extremely flirty person, he walk to Sean, he kisses him deeply but doesn't put on a show like he did for his boyfriend. 
Sean spins on Jake, Jake, being the super flirty person when sober sits on Seans lap and kisses him, not like Zander did, he kissed him. He then laughs, "My turn" everyone seemed shocked by what was happening. But everyone was eating so no one responded. 
Jake spins and lands on me, he comes toward me and whispers to me "Don't worry I won't tell anyone, neither will they." as his mouth collides with mine, I felt fireworks, his mouth tasted like whiskey and black licorice. We pulled apart for a moment to catch our breathes as he looked in my eyes, there was a mutual understanding of how amazing it felt. Our mouths connected again as the kiss deepened he stopped to leave a hickey on my collar.
