An unbelieving World War 2 Allied Officer finds out that he was killed after saving an innocent civilian under his care from unscrupulous elements in uniform. The prospect turns to be bleak for any kind of afterlife given his circumstance in matter...
I have never encountered something this super natural before in all of my lives. Well except with the encounters with Neit and Lieutenant Valkyrie but that was technically during death. As the blue wolf-thing stirred and howled to the full moon and beyond. A thought dawned to me on what I was actually facing as the moon beam moved to hit the beast and reveal it's whole form, a werewolf! Such a beast of myth, I then tried to think of plans on how to evade this one as fighting it was totally out of the question. From folktales the only thing to combat these things are with silver weapons or repel them with the smell of wormwood. Both of which I do not have with my current kit.
As I took a back step as slow as I can, the werewolf changed position after its' transcendent howl. The beast began to leap towards me with its jaws wide open so it can gnaw at me with it's ferocious fangs. The werewolf's muscular forearms are also raised, revealing a set of deadly claws from it's hands with the intent of lashing towards my body. I threw the hunting blade with all of my might at the direction of the werewolf as I turned around to flee and started to climb up on a nearby tree. The blade was able to hit somewhere below the under belly but not enough to cause any wound damage that I can detect. The discarded hunting blade slid to the forest floor after hitting its fleshy mark. To my surprise the resultant action made the werewolf back down with a yelp and proceeded to protect its tender parts with it's clawed hands. Giving me the ample time I needed to climb up the tree towards safety. I then yelled in spite from the upper parts of the tree, "Did I hit the family jewels, eh?" Still the action seems to have further enraged the werewolf as it hammered it's shoulder towards the tree in hopes to set me off my balance. To no avail, as I used a hunting dagger to secure myself a hold on the tree bark while the rest of my limbs found a foot or hand hold on some sturdy branches.
The hammering continued for awhile and at times the werewolf attempted to to scale up the tree but it's weight won't allow it to climb any further near me, adding to the beast's visible frustrations. Now this could end as a waiting game as I'm really out of options at this point. Recalling further that a werewolf needs the moonlight of the full moon to maintain it's monstrous form, as known folklore's go by that fact. Thinking about staying here all night brought me a headache, as I would have to take an account of myself should I come back late at the manor during the daytime.
Unsurprisingly the commotion we caused did not go unnoticed as smaller wildlife and birds started to stir from their nightly slumber. Before long a bigger animal took notice of us as well. Deeming it as an affront to its' territory, it proceeds to oppose the werewolf's boldness with an Ursid roar. A forest Black bear came lumbering towards us and it is huge!

While the large black bear continues to bellow a challenge at the general direction of the blue werewolf, it appears from my estimates they are evenly matched in terms of size. I continue to lay my form on the tree trunk as I observe the encounter between the beasts and wait for the chance opportunity of escape.
