My name is Karabelle Maria Angelita Dez Reconsuelo Vellico Y Arma Naval. The daughter of the merchant-knight Don Muñoz Raffael Jacobo Troy Bien Vellico Y Navarra. While my mother is Doña Lillybelle Asuncion Maria Santisima Vellico Y Arma Naval, a veteran of the Iberian Infantería de Armada. Recent events has placed me under the care of House Speir a local Hibernian Baronial house. Where I was able to meet a fine, strong and illustrious boy named Liam, unfortunately I may have broken him after our sparring practices yesterday. Still I have faith that he will recover soon and spar with me again! As I have yet met anyone able to fight me toe-to-toe, save for my father. Especially with the first time I met Liam, he was so spectacular in fighting off the kidnapper for my honor and able to fend off Bonnie the werewolf before I arrived to offer him some support.
Plus, Liam owes me a deeper explanation on what is going on with him in his little adventures. Aside from some vague reasoning from him needing to do quests of importance that concerns his personal mortality. From there, Liam swore me into secrecy about all this.
For now I feel impatient in not seeing him today. More so when I saw him with the indignity of being princess carried to his room last night by that Valkyrie who is disguised as one of the maids. I have an unsettling feeling about that woman and on what she is doing to poor Liam. Still I trust Liam to be true to himself and will be back once more with us in a day or two once he recovers.
But for today I'm out and about shopping with the Baroness Speir along with some guards for our escort.
"You look a bit downcast today, my dear Karabelle." remarked the Baroness.
I returned with a cheerful smile in reply, "It is nothing My Lady, I am just overwhelmed by the stores we have been through this morning."
"Oh, is that so my dear? Then let us stop by somewhere for some refreshments and an early lunch." replied the Baroness Speir. As she ordered an alarmed James and the other accompanying guards who are now overburdened with boxes from today's shopping, as they are to look for a suitable establishment for the pair.
"Seniorita Karabelle!" came a shout from behind, as we all look at a mounted soldier trotting to a slow stop before our group. The armor worn by the soldier is familiar to me as an older mark used by Iberians of old nobility.
As I observe the well polished armor worn by the soldier it appears to be too heavy set to be supported by a regular horse for longer periods of time. Still the animal seems to be unburdened by it's load than normal. Where I guess this is part of the capability of this armor, to make it lighter that is contemporaries but harder to penetrate. An additional quirk, that sometimes irritates me when I hear it even from Papa's armor when he trains me with the sword. Where there is a low ticking noise coming from this unusual armor set and the noise just keeps on going until the main spring winding is spent before it needs to be rewound again for it to be operated. While the helmet of this one has a distinct top fin and a central glowing eye emanating within its intricately grilled faceplate.
"Hold! He's wearing Iberian De-suzi armor!" cried the Lead Guard, as the rest of his men laid down their boxes and drew their weapons at the newcomer.
"Heavens, James don't cause a stir here." reprimanded the Baroness to her guard.
"Baroness, by just wearing that armor it can be a threat to us all if we are not too careful..." countered James.
"Is that you Florante?" I interrupted after realizing the owner of the voice as one of our house retainers. "I did not realize you were permitted by Papa to wear the armor at this time."
"Si, it is I and nor did I expect you to be out so brazenly Seniorita! The times are not safe for you." came the response of the man.
"Where is my Mama and Papa?" I urgently cried out, ignoring the concern of our retainer.
"They are safe and part of the on going work to suppress the kidnappers, Seniorita Karabelle." replied Florante. Then he looked at the Baroness beside me. "My lady, and begging your forgiveness, I assume you are the Baroness Speir?"
"Yes, you are correct and Florante is it? Now hearing about Don Vellico, when will he be able to grace us with his presence?" came the cautious reply of the baroness.
"Very soon, my lady and again please forgive me as I am only passing by and have met you by accident. But I pray that you go back to the safety of your stronghold before things get too tough around here." Pleaded the retainer.
"Apologies, I don't follow Florante?" replied the Baroness Speir. Then a massive explosion was heard over the port area of the town. Causing for the wider panic of the townspeople as they ran around us. While the guards closed in to me and the baroness. As the baroness braced herself over my shoulders to protect me.
"I'm so sorry, my lady Baroness Speir. I have to go...Seniorita Karabelle we will meet again!" came the quick reply from Florante as he raised his blade in salute and charged towards the source of the commotion with his steed.

From the incident with the explosion and meeting one of our house retainers, our group was hastily evacuated back to the Speir manor by the guards. The Baron Speir headed out with some of his men-at-arms after hearing our account on the recent events at the town. Afterwards we are told to wait for further news once the baron sends back word. From there we were fed with a hearty lunch. While the Baroness Speir, was comforting me that everything will be all right and that I should also not be made to worry with my parents. Since she is sure that the baron is on top of things from here.
Though I am not that too worried about my parents safety, as I know they can pretty much handle themselves in a fight. It is just that I terribly miss them as well. I excused myself towards the guest quarters after the meal with the baroness, as I was told that Liam was still recovering in his room. Then I remembered that Liam was to meet Bonnie today. Thinking of a way to sneak back to his room, I told the maid assigned to me that I will be taking my siesta and lied down on the bed. After awhile the maid deeming me asleep left my room. I then took the opportunity to open the window and slipped out to the ledge towards Liam's window which was some ways away.
