The shrill sound of his alarm jolted Taehyung from his peaceful sleep, causing him to stir reluctantly. Rubbing the sleep from his eyes, he reached for his phone, squinting at the bright screen to check the time. As the digits read 8:00 am, a soft smile spread across his face, memories of the previous night with the ravenette flooding back to him.

The brunette's heart sank as he glanced beside him, expecting to see Jungkook's peaceful slumber beside him, only to find the empty space. Disappointment washed over him momentarily, realising that his plan to surprise Jungkook had been thwarted by his absence. Determined not to let it dampen his spirits, He pushed aside the twinge of sadness and focused on the task at hand.

Despite the lingering discomfort in his lower region, Taehyung summoned the strength to sit up, gritting his teeth against the pain. With a deep breath, he swung his legs over the edge of the bed and gingerly rose to his feet, his movements slow and cautious.

Limping slightly, He made his way to the door and stepped out into the hallway, scanning the surroundings in search of any sign of Jungkook's whereabouts.

As Taehyung stepped out, his eyes fell upon a figure dressed in formal attire approaching him.

"Good morning, sir. You're awake," the person greeted him respectfully. "You should change. Your clothes are in the bathroom. A car is waiting to take you home."

Taehyung's brow furrowed in confusion. "But where is Jungkook?" he inquired, hoping for some clarity.

The person handed him a check, their expression remaining composed. "Mr. Jeon left this for you. He instructed us to ensure you leave before noon."

The brunette's confusion deepened, his mind reeling with unanswered questions. "Huh?" he muttered, perplexed by the unexpected turn of events.

Sensing his bewilderment, the person gently urged him to proceed. "You should go and change, sir."

With a puzzled frown etched upon his features, Taehyung retreated into the room, his mind racing as he contemplated the situation. Determined to seek answers, he reached for his phone,

His heart raced with a mix of confusion and frustration as he waited for Jungkook to respond. After several tense moments, Jungkook's voice crackled through the line, brimming with an unexpected sternness.

"Kookie?" Taehyung ventured cautiously.

"What?" Jungkook's curt reply caught him off guard.

"Where did you go?" The brunette pressed, his tone laced with concern.

"My man didn't tell you?" Jungkook's response was cryptic, leaving the brunette even more perplexed.

Confusion creased Taehyung's brow as he tried to make sense of the ravenette's words. "I don't know," he admitted, frustration creeping into his voice. "He mentioned that you instructed him to hand me a check and wanted me out by noon"

"So what part of it didn't you understand?" Jungkook's tone was sharp, his words cutting through Taehyung's confusion like a knife.

"Huh?" The brunette frowned at Jungkook's curt response.

"So you're one of those clingy types, huh?" The ravenette's words struck him like a blow to the chest, leaving him reeling with disbelief and hurt.

"What are you saying, Jungkook?" Taehyung's voice trembled with a mixture of confusion and hurt, his heart sinking with each word.
