Ignore the mistakes please 🤍
~~~~Jungkook was sitting on the couch in his dimly lit living room, nursing a drink. His mind was a mess, a whirlwind of regret and confusion. Why did he do that? He had messed up everything again. What should he do? How could he make things right? He had no idea and it was driving him crazy.
He took another swig of his drink, trying to drown out the tormenting thoughts. But the image of Taehyung's angry face and the words they exchanged kept replaying in his mind. He shouldn't have tried to kiss him. The regret was gnawing at him, relentless and painful.
Unable to bear the turmoil any longer, Jungkook pulled out his phone and dialed a familiar number. "Hyung?" he said, his voice shaky. "Help me, please. I don't know what to do or how to make everything right."
Namjoon's voice came through the line, steady and concerned. "Hey, what happened? What did you do now?"
Jungkook took a deep breath and recounted everything that happened that day. He poured out his guilt and confusion, his voice breaking at times.
Namjoon sighed on the other end. "Jungkookah, you can't do that. You can't force things on him. That's not how it works."
"Then what should I do?" Jungkook asked, his voice filled with desperation. "I don't know anything, hyung. I... I lost control and messed up..."
Namjoon sighed deeply before responding, his voice firm yet compassionate. "First, you need to understand him, Jungkook. You can't push him around. Give him space, respect his boundaries, and most importantly, ask for forgiveness. Do whatever you can, but don't use your power or influence. Prove yourself to him. Show him that he can trust you again."
Jungkook swallowed hard, the weight of Namjoon's words settling in. "Will he f-forgive me?" he asked, his voice trembling.
"That's something I can't promise," Namjoon replied honestly. "But you have to do your best. Remember how you broke his heart, and now multiply your effort to heal it."
Jungkook nodded, even though Namjoon couldn't see him, breathing heavily as he tried to compose himself. "Yes, hyung. I understand."
"Good," Namjoon said gently. "Take it one step at a time. Show him that you're sincere. He needs to see that you've changed."
With those words echoing in his mind, Jungkook hung up the call. He sat there for a moment, the phone still clutched in his hand, before taking a deep breath. He had made up his mind. He would do whatever it took to make things right, to earn Taehyung's trust again.
Slowly, he got up from the couch. He knew it wouldn't be easy, but for Taehyung, he was willing to do anything. He would prove to him that he was worthy of his trust and love.
Jungkook grabbed his car keys and left his penthouse, the urgency of the situation overriding his better judgment. He got into his car and drove off, the rain pouring down in heavy sheets. He was drunk, but he didn't care; the only thing that mattered to him was Taehyung.
He stopped the car in front of Taehyung's apartment and sat there, trying to gather his thoughts and regain some semblance of control. Namjoon's advice echoed in his mind, Don't force things on him. Respect his boundaries. He repeated those words to himself, taking deep breaths to steady his nerves.
Just as Jungkook was about to get out of his car, another vehicle pulled up in front of Taehyung's apartment. He watched as the car door opened and Bogum stepped out, holding an umbrella. Bogum walked to the other side and opened the door, revealing Taehyung with a sleeping Taeguk in his arms.
Bogum leaned in closer to Taehyung, and they exchanged smiles. Jungkook felt something churn inside him. That smile—Taehyung never smiled at him like that. But he knew why; he hadn't given Taehyung any reason to.
