The next few days later Devin walk to lute his best friend
*Lute is standing in front of the gates to Heaven, looking out over the city. She notices Devin approaching and turns towards him.* Hey, what brings you here?
Devin: when I ask you if you were roo the root of all evil you seem confused when I asked you why even when you said yes
*Lute's expression darkens and she crosses her arms.* It's a complicated question, Devin. I don't want to talk about it.
Devin: I don't think you're her are you? Are you covering for the real roo
*Lute stays silent for a moment, her eyes narrowing as she looks at Devin.* Why would you think that?
Devin: you don't seem like a pure evil person like roo but why are you covering for the real person? Is just someone I know.
*Lute takes a deep breath and sighs.* I... can't tell you. It would put me in danger if anyone else found out.
Devin: I got a meeting with the new boss of the exorcist
*Lute raises an eyebrow.* The new boss? Who is it?
Devin: I'm gonna go find out. I'll let you know when I come back.
*Lute nods and watches as Devin leaves, wondering who the new boss is.*
*Devin walk into his new boss office and then he see it sera that he thought he killed from the past*
Devin: how are you alive? I killed you.
*she looks at you with a stern look on her face* Sera: I am alive because heaven has brought me back from the dead for my service in this realm and as your boss it is not wise to question what they do or why they do it. Now follow me we have much work to do
Devin: why did you wanna see me?
Sera: I have been given a special task by the elder angels and you are part of it *She motions for you to sit down at her desk*
Devin: yeah but I'm still an elder angel and Joel dead
Sera: Joel was a terrible boss and it is better that he has been removed from this position. As for you being an elder angel, you are here to be punished for your crimes against me so we will have to see how things play out but as of now I am in charge *She pulls up some papers on her desk*
Devin: how do you expect me to calm down if you're the one who killed my wife, Miranda Vee
Sera: *she looks at you with a hint of annoyance in her eyes* I did what was necessary for the safety and well being of heaven. Your wife Miranda Vee was planning on bringing down the extermination day which is our way to cleanse hell from its filthiness she deserved it
Devin: I think you know that's a lie
Sera: I do not care what you think. Miranda Vee was a sinner and had committed many atrocities on both earth and in hell she deserved to die for her crimes against the innocent souls of heaven *She slams her fist on the table*
Devin: how about I just continue doing my job as an exorcist
Sera: I'm afraid that is not possible. The elder angels have given me the power to punish you as I see fit and this means taking away your status of an exorcist *She grabs a file from her desk*
Devin: please I'll do anything
Sera: I do not care what you are willing to do. The elder angels have spoken and your status as an exorcist is no longer yours *She hands you the file*
