chapter 8

the next morning i wake up and head to the little kitchen in the hotel and start making coffee
then i go back to my room and change into workout clothes then check my phone

notifications from social media
email from hunter
text from dominik

obviously i answer hunter first

'hey nova, we'd love to have you at house shows but we're already booked with them but im sure we can squeeze you in somewhere just let me look over the list and see what i can do -hunter'

well damn

'alright, it's not problem trust me i understand :) -nova'

then i see what dom said

dom- i know you're probably asleep right now but i forgot to ask if you want to workout or just hangout tomorrow'

ugh he's so cute i thought as i brush my teeth

'good morning, im about to head to gym if you're awake right now, if not we can just find something to do later in the day'

i can't believe he wants to hangout with me

dom- 'i'm awake just let me get ready'

'alright im in room 125 if you want to walk together :)'

he likes my message so i set my phone down and go make my coffee

-7 minutes later-

zelina and i are on the couch talking when we're interrupted by a knock on the door and i get up

"hey, come on in!"
dom-"hey" he walks in
"imma go get my phone i'll be right back" i walk to my room and i faintly hear dom and zelina talking then walk back out going to the kitchen getting a water

"do you want a water?"
"um sure"
zelina-"are yall seriously going to workout on our day off?"
"yeah? you can join if you want, OH we still have to do yours and dakotas podcast! i'm so sorry i forgot"
"im not working out today and it's fine, we can do tomorrow or saturday"
"alright ill see you in a few hours"

dom and i leave heading to the hotel gym

dom-"when did dakota and zelina get a podcast?"
"they've been had one for a while now, and zelina streams too sometimes"
"really?"
"yeah, whenever we film my episode i'll send it to you"
"alright cool"

we do our workouts for a few hours

"dom they got a ring!"
"you're just now seeing that?"
"yes! can we please use it?"
"sure i guess" i grab his hand and drag him to the ring

"oh my gosh, can you teach me the 619?"
"sure, it's not that hard" he explains to me how to do it then i try it
i obviously nail it
no i didn't
i almost fell through the ropes because i let go of them too early but dom catches my legs and pulls me into the ring so i don't fall

"holy shit nova!"
"well that was a ride" i laugh then he starts laughing
"lets try again" i say between laughs
"are you sure?"
"yeah, do you think your dad would be mad if i used it in a match?"
"nah, he'd probably be surprised though, are you gonna use it next week?"
"maybe if i can nail it first"

i try a few more times then finally i nail it

dom-"there you go!"
"i did it!"
"do you want to try it on me so you can get the feel of doing it on someone?"
"sure if you don't mind"

he walks over and gets between the ropes like the opponent would be and i bounce off the ropes and run to the ones he's at and do the 619

"holy shit!" i say when he goes back
"you did good" he high fives me
"do you wanna do the frog splash?"
"are you just giving me your dads finishers?" i joke
"maybe, maybe not, now do you wanna do it"
"it shouldn't be too hard"
"alright imma get a mat and let's see how you do"

he gets out getting a landing mat bringing it in the ring

"aw you're not gonna sacrifice your limbs for me?"
"hell no, not yet at least"
"really feeling the love mysterio" i tell him getting on the top rope
it's a lot more difficult then i thought

dom-"just relax"
"easier said than done, i don't think i want to do it anymore" he walks to me with his hands out
"wait, no, no i want to do it!" he backs away laughing
"make up your mind women, it's okay if you aren't ready yet"
"im ready, im ready" i take a deep breath and do the jump, i do top rope moves but im secretly scared of heights

dom-"we need to teach you top rope moves"
"tell me about it" he helps me up
"you did good though, we can work more on it later on if you want"
"definitely, i want to learn a swanton, but if i can't do a simple frog splash there's no way in hell im learning a swanton"

dom and i wrestle for a while then head back to our rooms

dom-"do you want to hang out before we all leave?"
"sure just text me and is it okay if zelina comes?"
"yeah of course, ill see you later"
"later" i smile and walk into my room, when i enter i start jumping around

zelina-"i assume yalls gym date went well?"
"he wants to hang out later before we all leave!"
"oh my"
"it's with everyone else though and he said you can come"
"just tell me when and where"

i finally shower and brush my teeth again then get ready
i just put on a olive green crop top and black pants with a flannel and vans then i leave my hair natural and do some light makeup

dom-'hey we're all going out to eat then maybe an arcade and coming back and having a sleep over if you and zelina are down'

i read doms text and go to zelina telling her and she starts getting ready

'yeah come by our room, zelina is getting ready rn'
