chapter 32

so it's now tuesday and dom and i are leaving to san diego for james corden's interview

rhea-"have fun but not too much fun"
"ugh you're no funnn"we hug
"aw that's too bad because we can't have any mini yous just yet"
zelina-"make sure to text as soon as you land"
"yes mother"
"i'm serious"
"i know, ill text you as soon as the wheels hit the ground" this is the first time im flying without zelina and not gonna lie im nervous as fuck, but i have dom so i know ill be fine
they call our gate and i hug everyone then we go to the plane

-take off-

my leg is shaking then dominik puts his hand on my thigh asking if im alright

"yeah, this is my first time flying without zelina"
"oh shit really?"
"mhm"
"you'll be fine hermosa" he lightly squeezes my thigh, i notice he does that when he reassures me about something, im not complaining by any means though

a little while into the flight i start getting sleepy so i lay my head on doms shoulder and fall asleep

-dominik's pov-

i feel something on my shoulder and look down seeing nova going to sleep
it's been about 20 minutes then an old lady comes walking back from the bathroom and stops and says

old lady-"yall are such a cute couple, i remember when i was yalls age me and my husband would go on trips all the time"
"oh we're not a couple"
"oh, yall would make a great one, you better ask her out before it's too late i can just tell she loves you a lot and you feel the same way" is this lady some psychic?
"i might"
"you should, now have a good life sweetie"
"you too.." she nods walking away back to her seat
'should i ask nova out?' i thought looking down at her

-in sand diego, nova's pov-

"nova, wake up"
"nooo"
"we landed"
"mmm" i get up rubbing my eye then dom gets my carry on from the over head storage and we get off the plane getting the rest of our luggage then i see aalyah

aalyah-"nova!"
"aalyah!" we hug
dominik-"dominik!" he hugs himself making us laugh then aalyah goes to hug him and i text zelina that i landed then go to get a uber
aalyah-"what're you doing?"
"getting an uber and booking a hotel?"
"nu uh you're staying with us"
"i don't want to intrude, thank you though"
"are you kidding? is she kidding? you're staying with us you're practically family"
"are you sure?"
"yes, you can sleep with me and wear my clothes, hell i'd let you use my toothbrush"
"i get it, thank you" i chuckle then we head to her car

dom goes to sit in the front but aalyah stops him

dom-"hey!"
aalyah-"nova gets to sit in the front, my little passenger princess" she opens the door for me
"aww you're so sweet!" i get in then dom gets in the back and aalyah walks to her seat so we can drive home

-at the mysterio household-

rey-"ah they're here!" he hugs us then angie comes over and hugs us
angie-"i'm not used to you being home on tuesdays!"
dom-"i know, but i did tell you we have an interview tomorrow right?"
angie-"oh that's right! well i'll let yall get settled in, make yourself at home nova"
"thank you" i smile at her
aalyah-"come on i'll show you to my room" she grabs my suitcase and i follow her to her room and it's pretty big

"damn, i might just move in"
aalyah-"i would not complain one bit" i just put my bags in a corner in her room and we sit on her bed and talk

aalyah-"so yall finally went on a dateee"
"i guesss"
"the pictures i've seen seem to tell other stories"
"the paparazzi pictures? those were stunts for our storyline"
"i didn't know they allowed paparazzi in the building"
"what?" she gets her phone out and shows me pictures
"these must be the fan pictures rhea told us about"
"ohh ok, but still, those seem to tell other stories he needs to ask you outtt"
"trust me, i want him to just as much as everyone else"
we continue to talk another hour when dom comes in

aalyah-"noo, gooo"
dom-"i'm bored"
aalyah-"go hang out with mom and dad or something"
dom-"ew no" he sits on the other side of aalyah's bed
aalyah-"what do you mean "ew no"?"
dom-"i don't want to hear "te amo mucho" "te quiero más" "no, yo te quiero más"-"
aalyah-"we get it, can't you facetime finn or something?"
"he'd probably be with vero"
dom-"exactly"
aalyah-"finee, welcome to girl talk"
dom-"what are we talking about?"
"before you came in we were talking about the met gala outfits"
aalyah-"still can't get over jared leto's"
"right!"
dom-"what did he wear?"
"a fucking cat suit, look" i get my phone up and pull up a picture
dom-"what the hell?"
aalyah & nova-"right!"
"guess what else happened!"
dom-"what?"
"kim kardashian wore marilyn monroe's dress, the one she wore to sing happy birthday to that one president"
dom-"couldn't she get a replica?"
"apparently she did, but then she changed to marilyn's and ruined it"
aalyah-"that thing was history and now it's still breaking and gems are still popping off"
"i think they said hundreds fell off, and in the video of her putting it on you can see and hear them falling off and the dress tearing to fit her"

we continue talking then angie comes get us for dinner

-dinner table-

angie-"what time is yalls interview?"
dom-"around seven pm"
angie-"isn't that late for an interview?"
dom-"he's a late night show kind of interviewer"
angie-"ohh ok"
rey-"nova how long will you be staying?"
"just till thursday morning"
rey-"ah ok, maybe we can do something before yalls interview tomorrow"
"sure, id love to"

we finish eating then get ready for bed
rey and angie are in their room
aalyah is in the shower
i'm in her room
dom is in his room

so i go to dom

"dommm"
"novaaa"
"what're you doing?" i get next to him
"scrolling on instagram"
"you should get tiktok"
"no way"
"boringgg"

-aalyah's pov-

when dom came in my room and nova was talking about the met gala, i could tell dom is in love with by the way he looked and listened to her talk
normally when me or anyone else talked he'd say "what?" "huh?" but with nova he listens
i cut the water off getting out the shower and do my skin care, brush my teeth, and get dressed
i go to my room to tell nova she can shower now but she's not there
i go see if dominik knows where she's at but i see they're on his bed looking at his phone

"there you are, you can shower now"
nova-"finally, you probably used all the hot water though" she jokes getting up
"oh well, you'll be fine" she goes in the bathroom and i look at dom

dom-"what?"
"make. a. move."
"dude, a old lady on the plane said the same thing"
"maybe it's a sign, what'd she say?"
"at first she thought we were dating because nova was asleep on my shoulder, but i told her we aren't dating and she said "yall would make a great one, you better ask her out before it's too late i can just tell she loves you a lot and you feel the same way" and i was just like "thanks" because what do you say to that?"
"you already took her on a date, just ask her out"
"what if she wants three dates before i ask her"
"you probably didn't even have to take her on a date and she'd still say yes to your dumbass"
"i'm not a dumbass you perra"

we bicker and talk some more then nova comes back

"ugh you're literally a walking goddess, i'm blessed to be alive right now and have you in my home"
"stoppp you're going to make me blushhh"

we hang out with dominik a little longer then go back to my room and sleep
