A/N- the beginning of this chapter will be talking about body image, slut shaming, and sexualizing so if you don't want to read that skim through and i'll let you know when it's done <3

i'm back at rhea and i's hotel room
they have me bunking with her so it's more believable

"ugh i don't know what to wearrr!"
"just wear a crop top and shorts"
"i don't want to be slut shamed"
"it's hot out and almost everyone else will be wearing  rip tops and shorts i bet you, also what's the difference from any other time you wear a crop top and shorts?"
"nothing, im just tired of being slut shamed"
"just ignore them like you always do, whyre you even letting them get to you now?"
"i don't know.. do you think im gaining weight?"
"nova, what's going on?"
"i keep seeing things about me wearing revealing clothing and gaining weight and how im supposed to be the one little girls look up to and that im letting myself go then the other half is sexualizing which i can deal with that but its the body shaming and slut shaming"
"you know none of that's true and the sexualizing isn't okay either, you look bloody amazing and thousands of women would pay to look and be you, wear what you want it's your life and your body" i'm tearing up now, i love rhea so much
"but i don't want to upset anyone"
"you won't be upsetting anyone but yourself if you don't do what you want and let the fools control you, now put on the shortest shorts and crop top and get your ass up so we can go"
"i love you so much" i laugh and hug her
"i love you too now seriously get ready"

i get dressed in my normal black crop and ripped shorts and rhea and i go to the lobby to wait for the others and see they're already there

finn-"finally"
damian-"seriously what took yall so long"
"sorry i couldn't find anything to wear" it wasn't a complete lie
liv-"you could've came to me, i always over pack and we would've found something"
"i'll keep that in mind next time" i probably won't won't take up that offer, i don't want to stretch her clothes out

we make it to the restaurant and get seated
on one side of the table it's damian, rhea, and zelina
finn is at the head of the table and the other side is me, dom, and liv
we ordered our drinks not long after we sat down

rhea-"so how's tyler?"
liv-"he's good, we were supposed to facetime tonight but he got called into work"
rhea-"does he still act?"
liv-"yeah he's working on a new movie right now"
rhea-"oh sick, do yall know when it comes out yet?"
liv-"sometime next year i think but it's always changing, how's buddy?"
rhea-"he's good, really liking aew"
liv-"oh so is ruby"
rhea-"you still talk to her?"
liv-"yeah, she's also pregnant"

"who's your boyfriend?"
liv-"tyler carpenter"
"no way really!?"
"yeah"
"that's so cool, i love where the crawdads sing it's one of my favorite books too"
"oh cool i'll let him know" she smiles

we talk someone and order our food everyone else is in their own conversation and im sitting there with my leg is bouncing because im thinking of what people have been saying about me, i can't help but to think about it, ive been bullied growing up and compared to zelina all the time shes more petite and prettier than i am
i guess dominik noticed because he places his hand on thigh like he did in the break room at wrestlemania
he grabs his phone typing something then hands it to me

i see he typed in his notes app

-notes app convo between dom and nova-

dom-"you okay?"
"yeah, you?"
"why's your leg bouncing? you don't do that unless something is bothering you"
'he completely ignored me asking if he's okay' i thought
"im fine"
"meet me by the bathrooms in 3 minutes"
"ok?"

he cuts his phone off getting up
dom-"i'll be back" i guess im meeting him by the bathroom

i wait 5 minutes for safe measure and head to the bathrooms

dominik-"two minutes late i see"
"if you wanted to hook up you could've waited till we got back to the hotel" i joke
"my mission in life"
"i know"
"now what's bothering you?" i sigh
"just things people are saying on twitter"
"what're they saying?"

i tell him what i told rhea back at the hotel

dominik-"nova, you know none of those things are true.."
"what if they are though?"
"you workout almost everyday and watch what you eat, there's no way you gained even two pounds and it shouldn't matter what you wear or look like, you're an amazing role model to these young girls"
"but-"
"no buts hermosa" he wipes the tears i didn't know even fell getting a little closer to me "you're one of the best women i know, these young girls are lucky to have you as a role model and so many other women would kill to look you, so don't let these idiots get to you okay?" i just wrap my arms around his neck hugging him i feel him wrap his arms around my waist

"thank you so much" i mumble
"anytime, now lets go back to the others okay?" he rubs my back as we release each other then he wipes the other tears that fell and we walk back to the others

finn-"did yall have to shit or something?"
dom-"no you weirdo, there were fans by the bathroom and they stopped and talked to us"
finn-"alright then" i feel dom put his hand on my thigh as he talked to finn and damian and i talked to the girls

-back at the hotel-

i get on my phone then see i have a few messages from a group chat im in with zelina, rhea, and another number that i dont have saved
confused i click on it seeing a picture of dominik and i by the bathroom sent from rhea
her seat apparently had a clear shot of the bathrooms

"rhea fucking ripley!" i yell and walk to her room
"uh oh am i in trouble?"
"what the hell" i show her my phone
"ohhhh that"
"yeah that"
"it was a cute moment!"
"they should hire you as paparazzi you stalker" i laugh
"hey, you're welcome for those!"
"thank you i guess"
"anytime, now are yall in some secret relationship we don't know about?"
"no" i explain everything to her
"awww, he needs to make the big move next"
"tell him that not me, anyway goodnight i love you"
"night i love you too" i walk out her room going to mine and falling asleep
