Lyla pulled up to the dock and quite simultaneously she noticed that Ian, Sarah and Ian's daughter Kelly had pulled up as well
"Ah so you saw the news too eh Lyla" Ian said
"Yeah Ludlow needs to be stopped"
Sarah and Kelly stared at Lyla and before lyla could say anything Ian spoke up "ah ladies forgot to mention this is one of the people who led the tour at Jurassic park. Lyla mayfield right?"
"It's Grant now actually but nice to meet you two"
They all walked up to where Ludlow was which was inside the boat radar place, there was a ingen guard standing there
"What are you four doing here, you aren't allowed here?" He asked
"We're here to stop Ludlow and turn the boat around" Ian said
The guard chucked and said "yeah you have no jurisdiction to do that"
Lyla then stepped in front of the three and took out a flip card which Hammond had given her and said "even if they don't I do"
"Oh you're the daughter of that lady who failed, the boss said to look out for you"
Lyla simply shrugged and then slightly motioned to Ian and Ian took that as a sign to cause a distraction which he did and he swung to punch the guard right in the face
Lyla then opened the door and there sat Ludlow and a couple others "oh hello Lyla" he said
"Don't you hello me, turn that boat around or so help me gosh"
"You have no authority to do that so run along now" Ludlow said
After much argument the boat arrived but none of the crew got off and much to the horror of everyone the Dino being contained was the worst of all the T. rex.
It broke out and then seeing the city it made its way there.
Lyla decided to go with Ian and the others in the car and like the park they got chased as the baby rex was in there.
"Hold on stop here" Lyla said.
She took the baby Rex and put it in a little pen of sorts. Ludlow had then showed up
"Give it up Lyla, you aren't going to become leader and also stop trying to protect these things I also want that baby Dino for the park"
At that point Callie had come out and tried to attack Ludlow but with a forceful kick he sent Callie flying and partially injured.
Lyla now mad growled and said "no one messes with my dinosaur and most importantly no one slanders my family like you did" she ran at Ludlow and with brute strength picked him up and threw him in the pen with the baby Dino and she heard the momma T. rex about a mile away so she headed back to Ian's car and they sped off but Lyla looked back to see that Ludlow had become nothing more than Dino chow.
She nursed Callie back to health and settled some stuff
Meanwhile the news was curious as to who would take ludlows place and the status of the island and Hammond made a speech saying
"It is absolutely imperative that we work with the Costa Rican department of biological preserves to establish a set of rules for the preservation and isolation of that island"
"These creatures require our absence to survive not our help and if we step aside and let nature run its course life will find a way."
"I also trust Lyla Grant completely with being the head of my company. She will do a wonderful job and for that I am hopeful."
AN: that ends the lost world arc. Jp3 will be only one chapter and that will be shorter so I'll do two chapters but hope you're enjoying the story and also go read my Percy Jackson book if you like that series
