GRAYSON
I was just getting ready for bed, when someone knocked on the door. I opened it. But the person stormed off and pushed the door so hard, I knocked myself to the floor. It was dark. I had turned off the light. The person slammed the door and they had their back turned away so I couldn't see their face. But they started screaming like a madman and I knew that they is actually a he.
"WHY!" he roared.
"Well, why don't you answer that question? You barged into my room," I stood up and rubbed my poor ass.
"Why did you let her do it?" He almost sounded hopeless. Now we are face to face. He wore a mask and a hoodie.
"Stop screaming or I'll call the guards." I said firmly. He finally took off the hoodie. And just like that, I knew who the person was just by looking at his hair. He had this dark chestnut brown hair, with the highlights of the lighter one. His hair was all messed up and it revealed enough of his eyes.
"Vesper?" I said, squinting my eyes and taking a step forward to get a closer look.
"Woods." he greeted me as he took off his mask.
"It is you!" I almost jumped from the excitement. "We are so worried. Where were you?"
"I was exactly where you'll go tomorrow with our friends."
"Springfields? What are you doing there?" I felt myself tensing. Vesper went silent. It took him a moment to answer. It was quite dark to see the rest of his features, but it's bright enough to see that he had shed a tear. "Vesper?"
And finally he let it all out. "I'm sorry! I'm really, really sorry. I have to do this–"
"VESPER!" I screamed to stop him from talking. "Just calm down for a second, alright? Sit down." I tried to reassure him.
I sat down on my bed and I nodded at him to tell him to sit down.
"What's going on Vesper?" My voice was filled with concern. "You were gone for 2 whole days! And you finally came back, screaming and apologising like a madman."
"I don't have much time to explain."
"Time? What time?" I didn't like where this was going.
"Just promise me something," he sighed. "Don't tell anyone that i come here."
"But why?"
"Just promise me that"
"I'll try." I choked the words. I lied. I only kept the secret for a day because I'm a man who can not keep secrets all to himself. "Are you going to tell me what's going on? At least tell me the point where you go missing."
"Something bad is going to happen, to her, to me, to all of us!"
"What thing? Who's her?"
"That, I can't tell you. But seems like Elaine figured that one out," he said as he smiled. Elaine? What's Elaine have to do with this?
"Alright. You got to fill me in here. I'm not some character in a movie who quickly figured everything out just by hearing words from their opponents." I insisted.
"Guess you'll just have to figure everything out" I felt very frustrated as soon as he said that.
"Stop saying like you're a villain in big movies or a fantasy novel!" I groaned.
"Maybe because I am." Vesper said, softly this time.
"See? You're doing it again!" I almost whined like a child. "I'm glad you're back and okay."
