ELAINE

Later that day, we all got a flyer from the music club and they invited us to a performance in the garden. It's not a bad idea, I thought to myself. I love music and I love watching people play instruments, and it's a good way to spend your evening time. But we would have to wear dresses and those fancy stuff like we're going to an 1800s opera. Not that I hate it, but I have never worn high heels before, I just couldn't walk in it. For some people it's hard, for me it's even harder.

So here I am, walking to the university's garden, in a maroon dress and black high heels, with my hands in Grayson's arm, keeping me from falling down. Wini and Echo are behind us. But at least the garden is very beautiful, with a pond and water lilies, willows, and flowers all around it, and hanging lights. The performing club were only setting up and preparing themselves. Behind them is a big water fountain with flowing water.

"So, what," asked Grayson as we sat on the chairs in the far back. "Are we going to Springfields again?"

"Yes, of course. Thanks for the extra hand." I smiled.

"No big deal. You need to learn how to walk in high heels," Grayson said casually.

"I can walk just fine." I huffed. Try walking with heels yourself, Grayson.

"You need to learn how to properly walk." His eyes twinkled.

"No promises." I winked, looking around the place as people sat on their own chairs.

"So, when are you going to tell me about that guy who came into your room?"

"I'm not going to."

"Why?"

"Because I forgot what he said!" he claimed.

"You're lying, I can feel it." He's never a good liar, that boy.

"I'm not, he spoke too fast and used big words." He pursed his lips.

"Grayson," I paused, putting my hands on his shoulders. "You're taking Shakespearean club!"

"What does it have to do with this?" I shook his shoulders vigorously as soon as he said that.

"We speak fast and use big words!" I almost wailed.

"That's different, We have a paper called a script," he said. I scoffed and rolled my eyes at him.

"Hey, guys!" said a person behind me. I turned my head around to see Echo and Wini sitting behind us.

"Hey! Where were you guys?" Grayson turned his head around.

"We were just over there," Wini said as she took a sip on her cup. "This chocolate is really good."

"Oh, yes. Here," said Echo, handing us a cup of hot chocolate. "There was only one left so you have to share. Try it! It's literally perfection in a cup.."

"This is good," Grayson said, handing me the cup after taking a gulp.

"Shh, guys. It's about to start," Wini announced.

When the show was done, we were all going back to our dorms. Although it's a little early to go to bed, we decided to sleep anyway. Tomorrow's a big day, we're going back to Springfields to check out that address we already solved.

"So, wake up early, get ready, breakfast, then Echo will be driving my car" Wini made the plan.

"Yes, Wini. Just like we always do," said Grayson. We said our goodbyes to Wini as she made her way to the stairs. She was in a hurry as she needed to work on something, while Echo ran to our room just because she missed her bed.
