ELAINE
I was a little glad to find Wini's car still in the parking lot. I was afraid that the kidnapper took the car with him. It was before six when we began our trip. I was asleep for most of the trip. It was quiet. We didn't talk or play anything on the radio. I think it's because there's no Wini. Winifred always plays something on the radio and Echo always tries to stop her from doing it. She said she has to keep her focus if we don't want to crash and die.
We stopped by at a gas station because one of the wheels has a hole in it. Echo's taking care of it. Grayson and I went to the store by the gas station to buy some food and medical supplies, in case we'd need one. When we're done buying stuff, we went back to the car to see Echo's done with the car too. It's not a long way to Springfields, so it only took about one hour with no traffic..
"Alright, we're here," Echo finally said.
"We're already at Springfields?" asked Grayson.
"That's right, we are," replied Echo, still driving the car and trying to find the way to our final destination.
"Oh, look!" I said. "Turn right at that corner right there, I think that's it."
"You sure?"
"Yes, look at the sign." Echo turned right at the corner I was pointing at. And we saw a tower with a bell on top of it. An old big white building with a giant bell that has rusted.
"So, where is this one twenty two D street?" asked Grayson.
"Look to your left." There's a street sign with one twenty two D street written on it, right in front of the white building. Echo stopped the car at the left side of the street. "Is this it?"
"Well, it's creepy, must be it," I said.
"When should we go in?" Grayson asked. He sat in the back alone.
"What time is it?" I turned my head to him.
"Six fifty," he replied, looking at his watch.
"Let's wait ten minutes, then we go in," I decided.
Ten minutes had passed. Echo had already opened the door lock. Grayson brought a small knife with him and I saw him put it in his back pocket, where it cannot be seen, but pretty easy to reach. I was going to bring my bag with me inside, but Echo said that the bag is too big, and she was afraid that the creepy man would take advantage of it. So, I took two flashlights and gave it to Grayson and Echo. I also grabbed a rope. Echo took bandages and a small knife as well.
"Alright, let's go," I said, having my hand on the car door's handle.
"Wait," Grayson said. "Hold on, I need a moment."
"Come on, we already had our time to prepare ourselves," Echo whined, not wanting to waste any time.
"Fine, lets–" Grayson suddenly stopped talking.
"Are you alright?" I looked at him worriedly.
"Guys, look at the window!" he whispered. "It's not just me, right?"
I looked over to Echo, who looked over to the first floor window of the bell tower. I tilted my head to the side to get a better look. Then I saw a shadow. There's a person inside and they're looking right at us. It's not a ghost or anything, I know it's a human.
"There's a person," Echo stated.
"Yes, looks like it," Grayson said
"It's a public building, there must be a person inside," Echo said logically. My eyes searched for a door in the building. When i found it, i saw a sign that writted CLOSED on it
